Microsoft Outlook vs Thunderbird: Which is a better fit?

I do like that it suggests the people you most frequently contact when you are writing an email. They make creating a signature super easy and I like that it supports images on the signature.

I dislike that Microsoft Outlook gets disconnected frequently. I also dislike that it makes me sign-in multiple times instead of keeping my account signed in.

It is easy to navigate, easy to make folders for important emails, and provides an email system that anyone can use. And the best part is that it is FREE.

The main complaint I have with this is that it sometimes says I have unread emails even when I do not.

The section that separates the focused mail from the others is really helpful. It helps look at the important emails first, before going through the others.

From start to finish, for setup and continued use, there was not a single thing is disliked about this product.

Very easy to use, best email solution for individual or team - big or small. Excellent features, lots of functions for an administrator, lots of integration and customization options, etc.

It has problems sending out emails sometime to some server.

I love that Thunderbird is reliable. Having used Outlook for over a decade, I was a bit hesitant to switch, but am very glad I did.

Sometimes when there are a lot of emails coming in it gets stuck, and from time to time I need to delete some of the emails.

Also, we have had many users complain about slowness of the PC when using the program, especially during compacting of files or filters.

What I love the most about the Thunderbird app is its multi-account support. I can set up as many emails on it as I wish.

Lack of support: Thunderbird is maintained by a small community of developers, so users may not receive prompt support or updates.

Apparently, Microsoft Teams doesn't send properly-formatted messages, so this is most often broken, but you can always work around it through manual data entry.
