Company size between 10 and 200 employees. Very suitable for the areas of production, sales and professional services.

Sage 100 compliance management functions are impressive and its and effective project cost management platform with nice budgeting capability.
Missing many key functions, has too many restricted areas that need to be more user-friendly, that were not designed by real life users.
Sage 100 Advanced mixes the best of both worlds, the ability to customize the product to meet my needs with the price of an out-of-the-box solution.
Poor integration with shipping alternatives. Inability to easily communicate system data with clients.
It is very user friendly and layout is very clean and easy to navigate. I like crating working with queries that linked to Sage and this gives you endless options to retrieve needed information.
The software really needs a real cloud-based version that does not have to be installed on a server. The name Sage 100cloud is really misleading.
Sage has a wide range of tracking and amazing functions that can be done. If you need a robust program and have the budget for it, this is the one to go with.
My biggest complaint being the amount of time it takes to do simple process. Example: when we have price changes and adjustments to make, it can not be done from a central place.
The ease of use and personal tayloring to your specific needs is great. The training offered is also a very nice touch.
Before giving any attention to this product do your own research on it. Original M1 code was stolen from other company by former employees then followed by lawsuit in which M1 people lost.
Excellent customer service with support on software and hardware questions. I have had consistently outstanding support from the customer service group supporting the E2 MFG system.
Due to the poor / complete lack or support and problems with the installation we are about to change to a new ERP system. This would be the worst investment my company has ever made.
Vendor has awesome support. We love how it brings all of our activities together in one program.
Our implementation and set up was managed very poorly, and we feel that we were cheated by the team responsible for our Implementation and set up.
I am very happy my company switched from E2 Pro to E2 Mfg, this new system has much more versatility, detail, and is a lot more user friendly. Very happy with the new E2 Mfg product.
They have repeatedly proved themselves incompetent and dishonest.
Blake B.: Hi, my name is Blake. I'm a product manager for a company in the mining and metals industry, and I give Sage 100cloud a five out of five. Before choosing Sage 100cloud, we also looked at Microsoft Dynamics 365, as well as NetSuite. Ultimately, we chose Sage 100cloud because, prior to Sage 100cloud, we used Sage 50. So the users actually had the best experience upgrading to this 100cloud. They felt that the interface was familiar, but that the upgrade solved a lot of the problems we were having. We chose Sage 100cloud for three reasons. The first is that it's cloud based. The previous instance of Sage we used with Sage 50. It was an on-premise piece of software where we had to basically maintain our own database. It crashed constantly, and it was always a headache. Ultimately, the cloud fix those problems. Second, we liked the SaaS model of billing a lot more than the lump sum license fee every year. It helps spread out cash flows and thus gave our organization more predictability in financial planning. Lastly, Sage 100cloud has a lot better app integration and functionality than its predecessors. You can easily plug and play with different software applications you might have around your company, and immediately pool all the data together for a comprehensive view of your operation. From an onboarding integration standpoint, Sage was excellent. They gave us a nearly full dedicated specialist who was able to walk us through new user creation, data cleaning, and upload, and ultimately being successful with the software product after purchase. They were able to teach us how to use the new upgraded cloud. It wasn't very hard for us, because we used Sage 50 in the past. So mostly it was just enhancements and the new dashboards we could easily create. From an integration standpoint, they gave us a tutorial on how their API worked and how you can easily plug and play with other applications that might be able to use the cloud. If you're familiar with web apps in general, then Sage 100cloud won't be a large leap for you to use. If you're considering Sage 100cloud, I have a couple of recommendations for you. First and foremost, truly assess whether you need to upgrade your software. Prior to upgrading from Sage 50 to Sage 100cloud, we were feeling a lot of system and process related pain that was relevant to the Sage 50 accounting system. It was at that point where we knew we had to upgrade. If you're not feeling that cumbersome pain, maybe hold off for a little bit and conserve your cash, and perhaps pour the growth into other areas.
Daniel K.: Hi, I'm Daniel and I'm the IT director for a manufacturing company. And I give M1 ERP a five out of five stars. The main problems that we're solving is we were able to eliminate a lot of the paper trails that we had in the office. Prior to using M1, we had a traveler that was printed out and went from station to station in the assembly process of the products that we make. And we were able to eliminate that, and it just goes workstation to workstation and everything flows much smoother. Our records get updated immediately instead of the stuff having to be filed and attached to the customer records. And then, a lot of that transfer back and forth running from the computer to a filing cabinet to get stuff because everything's stored within the program itself. Pretty much the problem that it's solving for us, the fact that it does a great job of attaching our documents to the different projects that we're working from. There's not a lot of going back and looking stuff up. If we have to go back to a previous project, all of the documents, drawings and worksheets that we use for that are all stored right there with the order. We can go and see everything that it took to go and make the previous order, and any adjustments that we make in a new order gets added to. And just does a fantastic job of keeping that record for us of what we do for our clients and how we build the different products that we make. Probably the one thing that I would change about it is that some of the screens are a little slow to go and load, but I know it's due to the complexity of the queries that it's drawing from. It's like it's drawing a lot of data out of the database to go and populate the information on the screen. Some of them take a little bit more time than what I'd like. If there was a way to magically do that, that would be fantastic. But I know we're just at the limits of what the program's capable of doing with the hardware resources we've got in place.
Prioritize real-user-identified key features according to your needs to find your best fit.
