It's really easy to use and has lots of great features. The text to video is so easy and the results are amazing.
It is also capped if you pay a staggering $40 a month. Capped on a payment plan is CRAZY.
I like how easy it is to turn my articles into video. The overall selection of videos is good, and the realistic voices are quite good.
Randomly, you'll experience site failures and inconsistencies. For the past 2 weeks, the video generation option has been down.
Their AI to pick up suitable media files to match my text in the respective scenes really is great and gives me a great idea on what to insert should I need to replace them without thinking much.
I dislike that I can't use multiple audio files and BGM for different scenes in the video. Sometimes the AI can be hit and miss for choosing a suitable piece of stock content to support the context.
However, what I like the most the the ability to edit video by text and the transcription. Pictory transcribes with great accuracy and good speed.
A product of the future with no learning curve.
Another great thing about all of the platforms they all are interchangeable with each other including this wonderful platform TOONS.AI.
I haven't found anything that I have disliked so far.
I love that this is a one time purchase, unlike the other apps in the category. Ease of character creation is awesome.
The business problem that I am able to solve is that I had available another video creator that just didn't work for me in that I couldn't figure out how to edit the video once it was uploaded.
I also appreciated the platform's commitment to continual improvements and updates, as it showed a strong commitment to user satisfaction.
It is quite difficulty to use for creating song video. The texts at layers is hardly adjusted as it is separated, can refer to Canva.

David: Hi, I'm David. I'm a retired archeologist, and I use Pictory for introductions for my books. I've written 35 books, and that's what I'm using Pictory for. And I would give it a five out of five. I've been using Pictory for a while now to do introductions to my books that I've written on archeology. Also, I use it for podcasts, for introductions to some of the podcasts, and I've made some introductory videos. They work really well to give a short overview of the book as well as the podcast. I like Pictory because it's easy to use. It's got some great AI voices that integrate well with the script that I create. So it's probably one of my favorite go-to tools for creating my videos. On the dislike side of things, I would say it doesn't always give me the picture that I'm looking for in the AI, but that's not a big problem for me because I create all of my own graphics and put my own pictures in. So the odd time, it'll get a good photo or good video, but AI is not so good at that at the moment.
