When posting claim payments you can post any amount, it should never let you do adjustments and payments more than the total amount charged but it does.

It take 20-30 seconds to bring a patients chart up, 30 seconds for tx plans to appear on monitor, the circle of death and (not responding) is constantly what we are dealing with as clinicians.

We have had a great working relationship with the software support team and they have been super helpful getting the software to do what we need it to do.

Cindy M: When making the selection to use Dentrix, we looked at SoftDent, or Carestream, and then also EagleSoft. Eaglesoft had way too many steps, and at the end of the day, it just took too long to finish an application. And then SoftDent debt had not gotten up to speed on the latest products that we really needed to integrate. Cindy M: We chose Dentrix because they were up to speed technologically how we needed to run the business. The package price was very affordable and their customer service is second to none. We have been with them for over eight years now and as they continue to grow, so do we. It's just been a great partnership, and as they continually upgrade their system, the easier it's making my job and I just don't know how I can make it through the day without them. Cindy M: Well, the company I'm with now was still using charts and a lot of paper. So everyone had the fear when we first started with Dentrix. However, they sent us for two complete days of training, and then when we were ready to integrate, they were there on top of it. It was seamless, and we wanted it to be more difficult than it was, but it was a seamless transition. Cindy M: I would encourage anyone who is looking to upgrade or get new software to go ahead and look and see what's out there first, and then come to Dentrix. When you start comparing the apples to apples, you're going to find that Dentrix with the backing of Henry Schein is a much superior product and there are many, many add-ons that they allow you to use that makes your job and your life more productive, and at the end of the day, there's a cost savings involved.
