I love the easy of documenting, I love that there are templates for different forms available, and I love all the extra help this software offers new therapist. This software exceeds expectations.
Wrong language on substance use diagnosis code wording. It is whatever substance use then disorder mild moderate or severe.
For my small practice it is so helpful that it is user friendly and simple to navigate. I love that i can change the style of progress notes I use and the function of sending claims for insurance.
I think it is something that should be an option. It is too bad that is not an option for people that are more challenged by the program.

It would have been much more anxiety provoking to have to figure out all the things that Simple Practice provides on my own.
They have a good "reports" option so that you can see outstanding invoices, insurance claims, etc. plus a number of other categories. I really love how easy SP makes it to submit insurance claims.
The one feature I have been having trouble with is regarding the recent update adding Couple profiles.
The software is customization to some extent. It can help to ensure that clinical staff are filling in all required documentation, which is nice from a coding and charging perspective.
Horrible, their IT will blame and make excuses of why the product fails to live up to its reputation. They hire kids that have no right being in IT/system analyst, coders, etc.
Once you learn Cerner Powerchart, it is a great software, very user friendly, organized, easy to navigate.
Worse, they blamed our IT team here when was clear it wasn't the case. This was more frustrating as this was happening while we're busy seen patients.
I liked that it was user friendly and intuitive. I had a basic training and was able to figure most of it out by myself.
Amazingly poor UX/UI layout, and often confusing. The customer services has been all along a nightmare.
I like the ability to review patients medical history, encounters with all health care departments and status updates.
Its just horrible that Cerner doesnt have one actual physician on staff to guide them in what is needed in daily charting on a patient.

So it really, really did simplify my practice and my business. It was so easy to integrate this into my business, really basically just downloading the app and documenting, putting in all of my business practice information, and that was it. One of the simplest setups ever, and I don't have to worry about anything else because it's all right there. And so I'm not having to tell my clients, "Oh, wait. Let me get back to the office," because the office is always there with me on my phone, or my laptop, or my iPad. Super simple. If you're looking for a really efficient and easy to utilize software for your practice, I highly recommend taking a look at SimplePractice. Pop into the app store, look at it. You can download the free trial if even necessary to get a feel for it, take it for a test drive, so to speak. And I think you'll really be pleased with what they have to offer, the support services, but most importantly, the ease of use and the efficiency that it allows you to have to take back your life and your day.
