Rave Panic Button vs Crystal Alarm: Which is a better fit?

I like the ability to ensure that the administrator can manage staff well. I also like the ability to use the app for drills we run monthly.

Holding the panic button down for 1.5 seconds only to be asked if we want to actually dial 911 burns valuable time that could be use to communicate with an emergency dispatcher.

We were impressed with the functionality of this product and the ease of setting it up.

Communication is limited when user sends alert message also I get little confusing in initial setup.

The overall benefits are the ability to inform staff of situations immediately.

When their product did not meet the requirements set forth by the state without requiring an additional subscription to another company, they refused to let a school out of the contract.

Great App for easily ensuring district safety runs smoothly.

However, I must say that initial set-up is somewhat confusing.

The simplicity of the technology yet stable and good platform.

Man down is the only feature we miss (using iOS). Sometimes the buttons loose connection with the phone and need to be paired again.

The Crystal Alarm app plays a loud alarm sound and you get two notifications, one from the app and one as a text message containing a link to the alarm information.

We appreciate the integration possibilities in the command center that helps us to cross reference GPS and our own backend knowledge of the staff and their missions.

The alert button on the APP is placed wrong... it should be placed on the top and not on the bottom since people are sviping from the bottom and up wich creats false alarm.

Easy to use, does what it says it does, good support.

It can be a little stressful to receive an alarm notification.
