PDXpert PLM vs CADDi Drawer: Which is a better fit?

PDXpert delivers a fantastic product and is perfect alternative to other PLM products on the market today. The system is extremely intuitive with a well developed with a friendly user interface.

About the only thing is that some of the built-in functionality such as most of the information on the Attributes tab is hard coded and cannot be hidden if it is not used.

Setting up the tool is very easy and the website contains lots of information to help you implement it, such as best practices and great tutorials for user training. Over all it's a great product.

However, we have just instructed our users to disregard this information and it hasn't caused any confusion.

PDXpert PLM is a great product that combines a lot of functionality at a great price point. I really enjoyed having two tiers of licenses--read only and full function.

I am a new user and still learning a lot. I would like to see more drag and drop from open records instead of pulling them from the Item Explorer.

I think the excellent customer support that helps establish the tool as a regular part of our operations is outstanding. The Customer Success team is great and very useful when we have questions.

It may be an internal problem, but loading errors occur occasionally.

Being able to quaickly search for similar drawings among a huge collection of drawings is super handy, and it is also great that it highlights the differences between them.

Compared to our existing drawing storage system, we are dissatisfied that we cannot see the past history of drawings that have been updated due to design changes and that we cannot see multiple pages.

We are satisfied with the support of the Customer Success Department, both during implementation and after the start of operations, which has facilitated the use of the system.

Currently a lack of functionality to classify and store attribute information (e.g., storing step-by-step photos, programs, etc.).

Keyword searches are super accurate, and the accuracy of similar drawings is good. Plus, searching is really fast.

This is unfortunate, as sorting allows for a variety of approaches to search results. In addition, it can be difficult to check drawings on mobile devices.
