Civic Champs vs Vome Volunteer: Which is a better fit?

There are many wonderful things about Civic Champs. The greatest feature is providing volunteers with the opportunity to enter a reflection at the end of their shifts.

Some volunteers have trouble setting up the app on their cells.

The support team is AMAZING and quick to resolve any issues. They listen to their customers and implement feedback to constantly improve their product.

There is no "bulk add" feature for volunteers to add themselves to recurring, weekly shifts all year round.

Working with Civic Champs has been a wonderful experience. From professional hands-on support to rebuilding parts of the software to best suit our organization's needs.

Some volunteers are older and only have a home phone and no accessible email. OPTIONS has put procedures in place to continue paper documentation if the situation arises.

With nearly 300 active volunteers we are able to provide an easy and all user friendly platform that keeps our volunteers engaged and active with the rescue.

Our volunteers appreciate the flexibility and ease of being able to scheduling shifts, which has led to a notable increase in participation and retention rates.

It tends to 99% of the time be user error and impatience for technology for my few seniors who still complain about it.

Our organization as been using VOME for a year. Some things that we love is the customer service support as well as the team as a whole being extremely helpful and fantastic with our needs.

We sometimes have difficulty making changes to existing schedules in Vome, but this is most likely due to a lack of training amongst our staff.

This is a fantastic program. The support from both the tech team and our dedicated consultant, who we can book one-on-one sessions with, has been absolutely outstanding.

I think for older volunteers Vome could be simplified. There are still a few too many clicks to get to things and the initial profile setup seems to frustrate a small portion of my senior volunteers.

My overall experience with VOME has been mostly positive. The team like I mentioned above is wonderful.

So far, we haven’t encountered anything we don’t like.
