Litigation Practice
The ability to customize every feature to best fit our needs. The quick responses from SmartAdvocate support and their willingness to listen to suggested changes.
We dislike that we cannot add documents to our calendar.
The customer service is amazing and they respond quickly if you have questions. I love that they offer on line classes if you want to learn more.
Document saving is more difficult than it needs to be.
The support is outstanding as well. Their dashboards and reports are unique nothing like I have ever seen before.
If there is anything to dislike, it's that I don't have enough time in the day to learn and utilize everything they offer.
The best benefit to Smart Advocate is when you actually use all of its functions and input all the information in its necessary place/fill out all the fields, it makes life very easy.
Not many cons - design/features inclined towards Personal Injury practice.
The common request from each was to implement a program which provided reliability, as well as ease of use. Our investment in the hosted solution has thrilled our clients and made my job easier.
It’s next to impossible to get on their schedule, and the customer support is the worst.
Customer service has been fabulous. Particularly our rep who has been so prompt and extraordinarily helpful to me when issues have arisen.
Our firm has purchased TrialWorks for local installation. Communication with the Trial Works staff has been terrible.
One of the best Case Management systems, easy to use, if you like access databases and their customer service person is very helpful. Glad to have purchased it.
For an attorney doing trial work or on the road this is a disaster waiting to happen. Their web hosting structure is apparently fragile, and we've had multiple interruptions.
The integrations between tabs to pre-populate information and cross-reference are very strong. The ability to work with documents, calendars, notes, emails, costs, etc. is very impressive.
The invoices were hard to view and understand, especially when going back to prior months.
Speaker 1: My name is Karen. I'm a legal assistant for a very small firm. We have five people that work here, and I give SmartAdvocate five of five. We use SmartAdvocate for case management. I particularly love the work plans and the task list. I always tell my, especially new attorneys, that if they'll use the task list, they can sleep at night because they know what's coming up, what needs to be done. There are sometimes issues that come up that I have to report to support, and maybe I don't hear back as quickly as I'd like.
Prioritize real-user-identified key features according to your needs to find your best fit.
