Church Windows vs Realm Accounting: Which is a better fit?

For the most part it's super easy to use. If I do have a question that I just can't figure out, I call their customer support and they're very friendly and helpful.

This is a headache for me as it takes over 35 gigs of space on my MacBook. That's basically my only complaint.

The customer support was superb. I had to call frequently when we first started using the software and they were always so helpful.

She also claims that it would be easy to steal money from our congregation with this program, but I guess anyone can steal if they really put their mind to it.

I continue to be pleased with the telephone assistance. I am more than happy to recommend Church Windows.

The scheduler program is used by our church, but must be handled separately from all our other calendars due to lack of integration with other programs.

I like it because I feel confident that their customer support is always there to help with any concerns.

Regular updates are painful to manually install. Reports/data extractions are overly complex and not intuitive.

There are a lot of help topics and if you can't find what you need, they are easy to contact. They have been very pleasant and willing to help and walk me through some of my questions.

The reports are difficult to pull sometimes with the specific information you are looking for.

The ease of operation and the staff who is always friendly and ready to help in situations that require answers.

When using it for accounting reports you have to go back in to the accounting block. Reports always directs you to reports other than standard accounting ones.

The software is easy to use, it is cloud based so easy to access and the functionality for accounting and payroll is great.

My only problem has been getting some reports in csv format but the available ones keep increasing.

I like being able to look up account numbers on the screen I'm working on; like putting account numbers on invoices. Being able to look up by the name is also helpful.

I've learned a few tricks but mostly self-taught myself their system. Our old QuickBooks did not integrate in so we had to manually add in all our accounts and vendors.
