Icon Systems offers multiple church management software packages that will meet the needs of any religious organization - from church plants to denominational offices.
Churches that are looking for an all-in-one online solution for administration, visitor connection & assimilation, member services & communication, donations, volunteer management and beyond!
I think the key to having a good product is the technical and support staff, which is outstanding with IconCMO. I would highly recommend this church software program to anyone.
The only negative aspect of the Icon program is that an alert is not given when a change is made on a page and the user attempts to leave the page.
Have been using ICON CMO from the time it was first offered and the enhancements over the years have been outstanding. It is a well supported platform.
Some of the screens for data entry are a little confusing until you figure them out. For example, setting user permissions was a challenge.
They are always extremely helpful. We love the reports and the ability to download them and print them out.
The list should stay open, since I may be making multiple updates. I hated that I had to set up all the accounting links, since those should have already been set up in the Revelations file I sent.
However, if you do need help, the support staff is outstanding. They are very familiar with the product and can usually answer the questions within minutes.
The updates sometimes seem to be numerous and hard to keep up with. The look changes every now and then and I have a learning curve.
Fellowship Tech support is very knowledgeable and very responsive. The report writing team is outstanding in building capable and flexible reports.
I hate calling support because it's so frustrating. Unless you have someone in your office who understands databases, then don't waste your time and money.
The app allows you to have the church directory at your fingertips which is helpful. They also, allow you to customize much of the system so you can tailor it to your liking.
The downside for us was the lack of flexibility that some of the features had, and the lack of new features being released in a timely manner.
Iphone Application is great for the priests. Great for the parish to be able to see their information online.
This is a terrible product with some of the worst customer service in existence. The product is clunky and overly complicated.
Functionality is really good. Access to the data via API is great and getting better with every new API realm.
To run a report is not simple. They ask you so many questions and there are so many boxes to check to run a report, many of the reports can come out as failed due to one missing element.
Amy: My name is Amy. I'm a virtual executive assistant and I work for churches, and I give FellowshipOne a three out of five. I use FellowshipOne every day with the church that I work for. We kept up with a database of all our members, our guests, our attendees. We ran reports about groups and tithing and attendance, all those kinds of things. One of the things I liked about FellowshipOne is when you went to a person's profile, everything you needed to know was right there on the screen, especially family members, groups they were part of, their attendance, all those things. So all that information was easily accessible. The thing I disliked about FellowshipOne. I think the main thing was their reports. They were super hard to use. They're very, very complicated. You had to go in and set up all these different parameters and none of it made sense. It was very, very difficult. It was hard to get just basic, simple information that you needed in their reporting. The whole thing was just a little clunky and it was very expensive. So our church did switch from FellowshipOne.
Prioritize real-user-identified key features according to your needs to find your best fit.
