Praxis EMR vs PrognoCIS: Which is a better fit?

I hate charting in general. I think this government guidelines are stupid and can't believe as doctors we have aloud this.

I am the office manager of a neurology practice that is using Praxis, and we really love it. I would say one of the things we like best is the automation.

The worst thing about Praxis is that I didn’t find it early enough in my search for an EMR to not have to go through two other systems that were disappointing and didn’t meet my needs.

It learns from you as you go and your charting becomes faster over time. After a few months, I am also thrilled that it is beginning to help me practice higher quality medicine.

Prior EMRs have slowed my practice. My staff used to complain about how rigid the prior EMRs were.

Its ease of use, machine learning, no inaccurate boilerplate templates, its reasonable cost, its organized processes for onboarding, and the amazing and responsive and personable customer service.

I wasted a lot of time (and money) in not getting Praxis in the beginning, but I'm making up for lost time now. Praxis connects to everything in my office which is good.

The nice thing is the customization, so if you know what you didn't like before, you can get this just where you want it. I'm impressed with the speed of the customization of forms, etc.

I find it difficult to navigate the templates. When the product has been changed, we have had problems and were unaware of the reason.

I wholeheartedly recommend the adoption of this EHR that will guarantee you get the appropriate refunds regarding Meaningful Use.

With so many EMR/EHR systems to choose from, and conducting hours of research, I chose the worse of the worse.

They are very knowledgable, extremely polite, courteous, and professional, all at the same time. Anytime I have had concerns, they have been quick to respond and usually resolves the issues at hand.

Secondly, the IT people are not medically oriented. They may know code, but the templates are ridiculous and the syntax of the finished encounter is horrid.

The people at PrognoCIS have been easy to work with and very responsive. Very affordable compared to the other options and integrated telemedicine platform is a big plus.

It is most frustrating dealing with their tech support in India and different time zones. We have left messages and had them returned at odd times.
