Companies that still use Excel to calculate their sales compensation plans and those frustrated with spreadsheet errors and the time it takes to update commission reports.
1-100 employee sized companies Small business owners CEOs Presidents Payroll managers HR managers Office managers Bookkeepers Accountants Entrepreneurs Startups
We took a totally manual commission process and with their solution turned it into a short process that is very professional and our agents are very happy. I would highly recommend this solution.
This app is so frustrating to use if you have any kind of changes or new people to add. Each time I have to have support add them and everything else gets screwed up in the process.
With the integration with Quickbooks and excellent configuration and training staff, QCommission is the perfect solution for our company.
Errors if everything is not typed correctly. No error message to give you a clue as to what is wrong.
We highly recommend this product. Cellarstone's implementation and customer support teams are OUTSTANDING, quick to respond, and always find a resolution to our continual inquiries and changes.
I hate that only some features are with certain packages.
With an unmatched balance of that "personal touch" and professionalism we all look for, I am very happy to recommend QComm.
Awful customer service and their sales team is probably the lamest I've ever experienced.
Ceridian has been a lifesaver in meeting our payroll needs. Their customer support is outstanding.
Currently, unfortunately, we have to keep track of everything on a spreadsheet which can cause some room for error or questionable practices.
Overall it is a very good product and allows us to process payroll smoothly. The customer service team are friendly, picks up your call quickly and are super helpful at answering your questions.
Once I am used to the interface of the program and you changed it after a number of years is annoying.
Ceridian representatives are knowledgeable and happy to help. I've appreciated their webinars on various topics.
Needed to work around only one type of sick time drawing from the accumulator, can't print out employee's transactions for the year without going into every pay period separately.
The software can be learned quickly. The software's ease of use coupled with the robust customer support will make for a successful outcome.
Anytime I have a problem I just call in and its direct to a live agent.
Samantha F.: Hello. My name is Sam. I'm the Director of Finance within the aviation industry. I rate Powerpay five of five. For more reviews like this click, the link below. We use Ceridian Powerpay to manage many day-to-day business activities, such as time off requests. We use it to get much HR support. We use it for everyday payroll processing and to remit all of our payroll taxes. The thing I love most about Powerpay is that I can have a customer service representative within couple seconds on the phone. There's no waiting. It's just, if you have a question, you dial in a number and like I said, within a couple of seconds, you're able to speak to a real person, in real time, who can help you solve all of your payroll issues. They can log right into your payroll account and show you right on your screen what you've done wrong, or what you need to do in order to solve the problem that you have. The thing I like least about Powerpay is within a new app that they just launched called Powerpay People. It allows you to manage the time off requests for employees. It has a clock-in/ clock-out functionality and other great, potentially great, solutions for small businesses like mine. The thing I like least about it, sorry, is that it's expensive. I think it's very unaffordable for small businesses and it doesn't always work super great when you go to use the payroll processing function. For example, if an employee submits an eight hour time off request using their vacation time, but say they worked through their lunch the day before, so they were hoping to only use seven hours of vacation, it actually doesn't allow the payroll administrator, such as myself, to go back and edit their time off requests, to be only for seven hours instead of eight, which is slightly problematic. However, I have spoken with the tech team and they've said that they're actually in development of making this a little bit more user-friendly, which would be awesome. So I look forward to seeing what they come up with and I also hope that in the future, they can lower the startup fees associated with the time, the clock-in/clock-out functionality. Right now, I think it's a thousand dollars. But anyways, hopefully it gets used more and they're able to lower those fees for small businesses.
