Business continuity solution that lets businesses of all sizes manage drive image, PC privacy, data recovery, disk encryption, and more.
The NAKIVO solution delivers complete data protection functionality for SMBs, enterprises and MSPs.
What I like the most is that it is free. It also has a more friendly interface than other software programs like pyhton or matlab.
Its very slow sometimes loading a code for a plot, it gets stuck and hard to kill that session, I wish it was faster.
The packages are also great and allow you to solve more complex data issues than other programs, and it R is particularly adequate for polished graphs, using the ggplot package.
It was pretty difficult to use as I have never coded before and had errors that held me back for hours. For non-coders, it can be very difficult to use.
Nothing beats free and that is for sure true with R statistics because it offers a great range of functions for free. It is such a beautiful software to do graphs and run regressions.
Hard to understand the errors and debugging. Not able to work with large datasets.
I used this software briefly and loved the reliability, responsiveness, and quality.
Error messages are not always clear, and different R-studio versions can run differently, or not at all, with some library packages.
The interface of the program is elegant, easy, and of careful and excellent planning and you can implement the steps simply and quickly in carrying out the activities.
The calendar is useless in a denser backup cycle.
NAKIVO supports all (modern) Windows & Linux OS-versions, even my ARM NAS is supported. The software itself is very inuitive, the dashboard gives a good overview of the backup and restore process.
Our organization used VMware VDP and we always had major issues with it. VDP would frequently break and ivolved days of wasted time on the phone with VMware to get it working.
We're securing our customers data through a very good backup and recovery platform running from multiple places in the datacenter, really good indeed. Very helpful support in all stages of the setup.
We have yet to try out the non-VM backup but we suspect that at some point we will throw that out and move it all to Nakivo.
This software has been really easy to setup, and once it was setup it just does it thing without me having to keep going back to it. So great to have peace of mind about your backups.
There are no real cons to mention. Sometimes we wish, that the logs in the UI would tell more details, when it comes to errors.
