Buildxact vs iSqFt for General Contractors: Which is a better fit?

Before we started using Buildxact, we were just manually doing takeoffs and estimating, and this has really increased the rate at which we can get work done. One of the reasons we decided to go with Buildxact is because the electronic integration, we can have it on our mobile apps, so our different project managers and myself can communicate with each other about different jobs. And the takeoff process is very easy. We get to see how and where people are getting those numbers from every different device, all on the same job. So it makes it really simple to do that stuff. There's a bit of a learning curve with Buildxact, but they have a really good FAQ section and a tutorial section, and anything that is not covered there you can email them, they're really quick to respond. I would recommend you give it a shot, they have a 14-day trial, and it's definitely worth it.

Larry L: Hi, my name is Larry. I'm a senior estimator for a installation contractor, and I use iSqFt and I give it about a four rating. I use the iSqFt to do my quantity takeoffs and allow ... The software is very accurate and very functional. What I like most about the software is its adaptability. I can manipulate it to the different functions that I need and make my takeoffs a whole lot faster and a whole lot more accurate. One of the things I would like to see improved upon is the transferring of information from iSqFt onto an Excel spreadsheet.
