The epaypolicy is a very easy app and usefull accept four big credit cards and make the transactions very quick and secure the experience so far is perfect.
CLIENTS USUALLY CALL ME IMMEDIATELY TO COMPLAIN HOW MUCH IT COSTS THEM TO SEND THEIR PAYMENT. I HAVE TO REMIND THEM TO CHECK THE NEXT BOX FOR ACH WHICH CHARGES A NOMINAL FEE.
As the only vendor at the time which integrated with our Vertafore product I initially felt captive in selecting them, but they are a delight to work with and our customers love it as well.
When our clients have a $10,000 bill due, it's tough to want to cough up an additional $350. Usually clients try to avoid CC if their bill is high and I don't blame them.
Ease of implementation and continued use of the program has been fantastic, and the timeliness of the customer's payments getting routed to us is quick. I'm quite happy with ePayPolicy.
When the maximum EFT payment amount is reached, and another client payment must be made for the balance, it's frustrating a client must pay the fee twice.
The overall ease of use is great for both our staff and our customers. And I love when our MGAs/Brokers use it for allowing us to see our open invoices with them and pay those premiums quickly online.
The few errors we have had occur have been on the client side with input error; however, the transaction declines are appreciated.
QQCatalyst has a nice and easy to use user interface. It also had great management application uses.
Limited commercial lines screens for entry and pre-population of ACORDS. Unable to download carrier files in XML, lack of Reference Connect Interface.
I like the reporting module the best. I liked being able to create custom reports.
Cost me a TON of time, stress, and I absolutely would not recommend integrating with Quickbooks/intuit to my worst enemy.
Good and promising, great customer support and super-fast learning curve for novices to the insurance business.
Unfortunately, after the merger the software has become very dated and severely lacking in features when compared to other systems. If you try and leave, they will charge you for your own data.
I love that everything that you could want is included in the management system.
Worst experience I have ever had with their customer service.
Tannya C.: Hi. My name's Tannya. I'm the Manager at Insurance Pros. I give QQCatalyst a rating of three. Before QQCatalyst, we were using HawkSoft. We changed from HawkSoft because we bought our book of business from an insurance aggregator and we're wanting to try something new. We chose QQCatalyst due to the pricing and because it directly integrated with our PL rater, which is a multi-rating system for personal lines insurance. Switching from our previous client management system to QQCatalyst was literally a nightmare. We had to pay an excessive amount of money to buy the downloaded data from HawkSoft to transfer to QQCatalyst. Once it was transferred, a lot of the data that was transferred over was in a program language that QQCatalyst couldn't read, so it was useless. The advice I give to people who may be switching to QQCatalyst would be to look into it and make sure that you're primarily doing personal lines. It's not really geared towards commercial lines insurance. For example, Certificates of Insurance are extremely difficult to track and manage. But I would recommend, if you're looking at changing client management systems, to talk to other agents and see what they're using and perhaps get a trial session with them. Have them go through it.
