very satisfied. all features are included for our HOA management service for our small community. with the assistance of AI, easy to master.

user friendly, make my treasurer work much easier. it is really worth the subscription. makes our HOA account management DIY with limited computer knowledge.

Cons

hopefully i can create a package of procedures saved in my accounts, so the similar accounts procedure can be done semi-automatically.

I have used Buildium for the last 11 years. While I don't utilize all the products that it offers, it had been the platform that we needed to be able to manage our finances for property management.

Pros

Buildium has a platform that makes rent collection and report generating easy. The different types of reports that I can pull, customize, filter and export are wonderful for providing to our Rental Owners.

Cons

When I go to print certain items, the pages pickup the content from the previous page, and are unreadable. This happens when I have posted our collection of Management fees, and when I go to print the item, it produces a page that has a bunch of information and text from the previous page on it. I am usually required to filter out and reduce the page size to be able to read what I need on the page that I am printing. If you would like a demonstration of this, I would be happy to provide it. It started happening a couple of years ago, and I have tried different browsers, tried clearing cookies, ect. Nothing has worked to fix this issue.

They have great customer support. They respond to all my questions. They do followup to find out if my questions were resolved. They have helped me grow my business and they have videos to help teach myself and my staff.

Pros

Buildium was willing to work with me when I had less than 50 doors to manage. Other companies would not talk to me. Buildium has done a lot of growing and has supported me when I had questions. They have been great to work with in their customer support and follow-up. The other guys keep calling to get me to switch. They were not there when I needed help and even though they have offered me free extras to switch, I will stay and grow with Buildium out of loyalty and appreciation. Buildium and I will continue to grow together. Thank you Buildium for growing with me and my staff.

Cons

Currently I do not have any complaints. They have been helping and assisting better than ever. Fees are going up faster than I like.

Pros

The software is user friendly, organized and has helped streamline daily operations. Tenant communication, rent collection and document management while budget friendly.

Cons

Speaking with a live person regarding help, if needed. You have to create a support ticket. However, the response time is very quick.

So far, it has been a good experience. Very user friendly for the most part and also very easy to pull reports and billing that we need. And the customer support folks are very knowledgeable and easy to contact.

Pros

The Resident Center is very easy to use, so that our tenant can see the progress of the maintenance we do for them and pay their rent. And our maintenance crew loves the app on their phone because they can update their tasks in real time as they are working away from their desks.

Cons

We are not able to set up a recurring preventative maintenance task for multiple years. It's extra work to re-input the task again after completing it.

Overall, my experience with Buildium is positive. It is a huge time saver compared to manually tracking, but there are definitely areas that need improvement.

Pros

Buildium works really well for payment processing and the user interface with tenants. It is easy to use for lease management and saves a ton of time over our past methods.

Cons

It does not have a great accounting system build in. The accounting is very lacking compared to something like QuickBooks and it lacks any export feature as far as I am aware. It is also a bit clunky for commercial properties/tenants.

Pros

Buildium is very user friendly and easy to learn. It helps us manage tenants, leases, maintenance requests, and financial records in one place. The system is intuitive and saves our staff a significant amount of time.

Cons

Overall, we have had a positive experience with Buildium. There are occasional features that could be streamlined, and some reports can take time to customize, but we have not encountered any major issues.

My experience has been positive. I would pick it again if needing a new property management program.

Pros

I like that in the 7 years I have been using Buildium it has continued to add services and system updates. It is easy to use. I like the customer support. If I don't know how to do something and can't find a tutorial, they are a phone call away.

Cons

I still am concerned about electronic payments. I don't know what we could do to limit the reverses. The fact that you can't edit an incoming EFT is a problem if you need to catagory a payment a certain way or move the date up or back a day.
