Mortgage Professionals: Loan Officers, Loan Advisors, Mortgage Brokers, and Mortgage Marketers
Nutshell is built for relationship-focused B2B organizations that are tired of juggling separate sales and marketing tools and don’t want to pay a full time admin to manage their software.
And the tools that it provides are fantastic. I love the ability to mass-text as well as mass-email, all with personalized communications to the client or partner.
The custom templates the initial set up of these is a little annoying. There are definitely some items that are odd about the reports.
I like this system... and am happy that we chose it. It has a lot to offer (some of which, I'm still learning) and I can tell there is potential for growth within the system.
When it lags and I have to refresh to make the interface work.
This software is great and makes mortgage processing much easier on a day to day basis. Great for keeping track of multiple files and helps you stay organized.
Also the formatting is clunky and slightly dated. Our team has used different CRMs and this one is the most difficult to navigate through as there is so much going on.
It is a huge competitor with Salesforce. It is user friendly, and great for setting tasks and reminders.
One of the only gripes I have with BNTouch is the lack of being able to customize the look and feel of the CRM itself.
Nutshell is great for organizing customer database. The ability to set reminders is a great function.
Also, the loss of historical record of communication for a Contact when you delete an old email is problematic. We are forced to retain all of these old emails and this can create confusion.
Nutshell has improved my overall sales. When my sells are bigger, boss is happy and at the end I'm happy too ( especially with my sallary ;) ).
Data uploads can be catastrophic if not done correctly.
Also, the customer service has been great. Not only are they quick to respond, but it's nice to know they take their users' suggestions and implement them if they are an improvement to the product.
I think more training on set up, warnings issued at set up and common pitfalls at set up would avoid harmful bulk uploads making irreversible upload mistakes.
Ease of use, easy integration, great customer support, easy to learn and solid documentation, and many more.
Our sales staff was apprehensive at first as there were lots of bells & whistles and a little worn out with the previous jumps from one CRM to the other.
Andrew B.: Hi, my name is Andrew and I work in strategy and business development for a handful of consulting clients, mostly small businesses up to 50 to 75 employees. And I would give Nutshell a strong five-star rating, primarily because it's been a stellar resource in helping these companies get up and running to formalize their lead gen and sales and marketing processes and helping them stay on top of leads, not letting them fall through the cracks. We tried a few other software products, for example, HubSpot CRM and Salesforce and Pipeline and SugarCRM. And those tools were, although they were good tools, they were overly complex. They were overly too deep and too many bells and whistles, too many features and functionality that we really didn't need as a small company. The reason I chose Nutshell and then my clients chose Nutshell, and the reason that we've stuck with them is really because they not only helped us get up and running very quickly with very high-touch support, but they have a great ramping up process where they really help you get deeper and wider with the product as you grow and as your needs grow. It was incredibly easy, far easier than I thought, to get started with each of my clients. From getting their data in to massaging that data to get it to where we wanted it, to creating reports, to setting up notifications and reminders, it was all very, very easy and intuitive. For companies that are considering using Nutshell versus other software products, I would probably take a hard look at what you really need today and what you might need in six months or up to 18 or 24 months. I think that Nutshell has everything that a small company needs for really the foreseeable future, unless you're on a serious rocketship growth trend. But I think that most other software products probably have too much and you end up paying for a lot of that that you never use. So I would consider what you need today, and whether Nutshell has what you need for the foreseeable future. I think you'll find that Nutshell has what most companies need for that period of time.
Prioritize real-user-identified key features according to your needs to find your best fit.
