It's easy to use and has a very short learning curve. You quickly become very productive with this tool and can accomplish takeoffs substantially faster with considerable greater accuracy.
However, if you simply want footages with no calculations needed, very little configuration is needed. Missing some automated features that full suite software contains.
The product is easy to use and the customer support is outstanding. The price was very good.
There is really nothing that comes to mind in terms of cons. I'm a new user and have not run into any bugs or weird results from onscreen measurements.
We have found their product and service to be the best in the game. We highly recommend it to others.
There is no way to change scale once it is set. You have to reload the sheet and reset the scale.
End result: we went with Tally Systems because it synced with our existing Excel spreadsheets perfectly. So, we basically could use what we already had and were comfortable with.
It also doesn’t have all the confusing formulas and databases that the other programs have. With Quickmeasure you don't have to tailor the way you bid around the software.
Access to help (have built up a good relationship with the reps over the years & have always had excellent service).
Need to be updated and if miss any entries will result in major error.
Overall it's an excellent program that I would recommend to anyone. It is such a powerful tool for estimating and organizing projects.
Functionality of QTO is very bad and inefficient,it is way behind other on screen measurements softwares.
What I like most about this product is not only is it very powerful but also user friendly.
Actually system of software renew every month / year as stopping software was big catastrophe.
Overall I am happy with the product and would recommend any professional in the construction industry to invest in this powerful product.
The integration of the software in the overseas department was easy, for the local projects difficult because of the missing German language.
