TrackWise vs QAD Redzone: Which is a better fit?

Its 21cfr part 11 comply and its very helpful if you are planning to regulatory approvals because its audit trail is perfect and its perfect for audit purpose.

The query manager is very limited. Currently there is no option to conditionally hide or lock data fields.

The program is great for categorizing quality reports by client, product, equipment, process parameters, manufacturing site, etc.

Functionality was limited and interface was clunky.

I like the core solutions of the software to be able to configure the workflow to match the business process as suppose to fitting our business process to the software capabilities.

It is extremely difficult to change things once a record type and workflow has been created and is place. Changing workflows, field types, etc.

It's a great way to go paperless for investigations, quality events, change controls, CAPA, etc.

I joined the project in year 4 of a 5-year effort so was not able to take the training and get the experience with the product the other team members had, which was a disadvantage for me.

The experiences have always been positive and the investments have had valuable returns. The part of Redzone I enjoy the most is that they partner with you to ensure you have success.

It appears not many Redzone customers have to use cycle locations so there is very little cycle location development and improvements by the Redzone team. This has been frustrating.

We like the fact that admin app from redzone is very easy to use and highly customisable, The on site coach is coaching experience is very good and effective.

The SPC module is difficult to use effectively and the Compliance module's inability to enforce checks to be completed has been a concern.

The software's ability to be custom tailored to fit an existing procedure is great and very simple to do. The app is very user friendly and easy to teach.

Broad communication was limited to a preset structure (i.e. leaderboard).

We have had some amazing coaches teach us through the process. The coaches work one on one and in group settings to help everyone gain a comfort level using the applications.

We can use the data mining tool within the IOS, but it is not as easily translated to our standard platform.
