Step format can create some corrupted data. Another issue VisMockup can be really frustrating as it does not respond if you try to open big files.
Teamcenter drives our business. Allowing for good control of product revisions and workflows for approvals, Teamcenter is overall a very good PLM system.
If you are a small to medium size company, forget it. It will be the costliest mistake you will ever make.
The ability to quickly create new revisions of products without breaking links and creating complex new structures is awesome and so needed.
Issue is that program may not respond for a while - at this point you should avoid any integration; and just need to wait. Otherwise it will stop working.

We were looking for a more integrated software solution. We chose Teamcenter because of its ability to integrate with our entire product life cycle. Teamcenter is a complicated software, for sure. You need to make sure that you're completely set up and ready to integrate with it and really understand everything that goes into it, get training and be ready to fully integrate the software. If you're going to start with Teamcenter, you need to be ready to integrate it into your PLM system. You need to understand every feature that the software has to offer and take advantage of training that's offered to integrate.
