I like that gym assistant is affordable. Their customer service is great and it’s an easy system to use that allows you to be hands off.
Just shy of 1 year later, the 2 gyms were linked, and we have had nothing but problems. We have called and emailed with no reply back.

The only pain point I have experienced was related to the 24/7 access part of this software, specifically the installation of the maglock/ control unit.

I don't like that when my computer resets or updates, often times the software doesn't reopen doorkeeper as its supposed to and my door system fails to open for customers who have keys.

I cannot ever get through to anyone, and when I do leave messages or send emails, I rarely hear back unless I harass over and over and over again.

It seems like a good solution for purely group class business models (like F45)/ Stripe payment integration and ease of refunds using the software.

You can have calls with the very happy and efficient team and they are willing to help and follow up on your requests. What I like the most and most looking forward in the future to is new features.
The customer suport is possibly the worst I have ever come across. Mostly automated, find your own answers etc.

So I was actually very fortunate that Gym Assistant was the first company that I had ever used. I did research tons of different ones trying to figure out what would be the easiest. And we really just hands down thought Gym Assistant looked the best and most cost-effective over everything we had researched. So we ultimately opened up our gym using Gym Assistant. And we've been using it for about, I would say, eight years now I think we are going on, eight years now, and it's been nothing but great. We chose Gym Assistant just because it was simplistic. We could easily just skim the manual and just get up and running. And that's really what we needed. We didn't have a lot of time for everything that we were doing because we had so many different business endeavors at one time, but the gym was one of our priorities, and we found Gym Assistant. Just with their tech support, they walked us through getting it all installed, and actually, even hooking up our gym doors so that it connects to the gym door. And so people can scan a fob and it links to the software. And they just were fantastic all around. And it just made it super easy. We could walk right up to the software. We loaded our first person in and we were up and running just as simple as that. It was really simple to onboard and incorporate it into our business. I mean, it really makes our business what it is, just all the simplistic features in it. I shouldn't say there's simplistic features. It's simplistic in use, but the features really go in depth. And I feel like every year I think, "Oh, I wish maybe the software did this," and I'll call them and they'd be like, "Well, we actually just added that." And they're continually upgrading, and there's even a ton of features that we haven't even started using yet just because we're not there yet, but it's very in depth in what you actually can use it for. I would definitely recommend you use Gym Assistant. I mean, you could do all your research on all the other companies just to feel as secure in what you're choosing, but hands down, Gym Assistant's going to be your software for your member management, for tracking all the funds, for running all your funds for all your gym members. It runs the gym. Without that our gym would not be running. I say chuckling that our gym is self-run and it's really because of Gym Assistant. It eases my life so much.
