Buildium vs TenantCloud: Which is a better fit?

Bobby: Hello, I'm Bobby. I'm a real estate agent and property manager, and I give Buildium five stars. For more reviews like this, click below. Actually, I didn't have any other software. I was a new company and I'd just started. And a friend of mine actually had Buildium and she used it for her hundreds of properties that she managed. And I asked her, what is it that I should use to really help me get my business started right away? And she suggested that I use Buildium. Well, the main thing I liked about Buildium was that it was from soup to nuts. It offered me everything I needed. As a matter of fact, it's almost like having an administrative assistant. And so, I was so blessed to be able to have this program, which does everything for my marketing in the beginning, all the way through to moving someone out at the end. It has so many apps that connect to this program and they're just amazing. And together, it just makes it so much easier for me to run my business by myself. For me, it was fairly easy to get started. Just because the week that I was actually doing all the videos, we happened to have a week of snow in Louisville. So, how lucky I was to be able to have that snow, because I sat down and went over video after video. And in those videos, I was able to learn step-by-step what to do to be able to set up my system and really make it effective for me as I moved forward into it. It's a little challenging if you don't have that much time. But if you've got the time to really sit down and just focus on it for a week or so, you can really set yourself up for success. I recommend Buildium greatly to anyone, and I always share that with people around me who are in the property management industry, because I do not know what I would do if I did not have Buildium. Every day when I wake up, I go through my system and think, wow, how lucky I am to have this helping me manage my properties. I have 28 units. And to be able to do that by myself and do the labor and the repairs and all of that, it's a lot. And so, Buildium really helps me organize and keep all that in line. So when people ask me, what system do you need to use? I tell them, no question, it's Buildium.

Alex: My name's Alex, and I am a property manager for Picking Enterprise LLC. We've been using TenantCloud and give it a five out of five. So we use TenantCloud for a variety of tasks, to track rental balances, late fees, maintenance requests, how we're doing with the maintenance request, as well as balances with contractors, tax bills and inventory in each of the properties we manage. We like most about TenantCloud, that it's available on mobile apps. When we're traveling, we still manage a portfolio, that there's a seamless connection with our residents, and the residents feel like we're right around the corner when we may be halfway around the world. Right, so one of the opportunities we found with TenantCloud is the fork in the road for customer service. TenantCloud asks for ideas or to submit a ticket for help. And our trouble tickets have been awesome. We get turnaround, feedback, it's delightful. One of the growing edges and opportunities for TenantCloud is with the submission of ideas, because the ideas are submitted, but the turnaround time on the tweaks with the software seems to be a little longer, and the turnaround on ideas seems to be beyond the reach of the customer service representatives. They say they have to kick it over, kick it up to programmers, which is understandable, but it is a little less elegant than the rest of the parts of TenantCloud. So that's an opportunity for TenantCloud to grow.
