Buildium vs DoorLoop: Which is a better fit?

I was a new company and I'd just started. And a friend of mine actually had Buildium and she used it for her hundreds of properties that she managed. And I asked her, what is it that I should use to really help me get my business started right away? And she suggested that I use Buildium. Well, the main thing I liked about Buildium was that it was from soup to nuts. It offered me everything I needed. As a matter of fact, it's almost like having an administrative assistant. And so, I was so blessed to be able to have this program, which does everything for my marketing in the beginning, all the way through to moving someone out at the end. It has so many apps that connect to this program and they're just amazing. And together, it just makes it so much easier for me to run my business by myself. For me, it was fairly easy to get started. Just because the week that I was actually doing all the videos, we happened to have a week of snow in Louisville. So, how lucky I was to be able to have that snow, because I sat down and went over video after video. And in those videos, I was able to learn step-by-step what to do to be able to set up my system and really make it effective for me as I moved forward into it. It's a little challenging if you don't have that much time. But if you've got the time to really sit down and just focus on it for a week or so, you can really set yourself up for success. I recommend Buildium greatly to anyone, and I always share that with people around me who are in the property management industry, because I do not know what I would do if I did not have Buildium. Every day when I wake up, I go through my system and think, wow, how lucky I am to have this helping me manage my properties. I have 28 units. And to be able to do that by myself and do the labor and the repairs and all of that, it's a lot. And so, Buildium really helps me organize and keep all that in line. So when people ask me, what system do you need to use? I tell them, no question, it's Buildium.

So again, just everything seems to fit into one area, and that was really, really important to us. Onboarding Doorloop seemed to be very easy. They gave us some really nice instructions of how to pull information out of our old system, what it would look like... Basically onboarding all the information we needed for Doorloop. And then it was just some simple training. We went through their online academy, learned all of their steps, and anytime we've had any particular issues or stuff that we didn't know how to handle, they've been available to either chat with us or to jump on a call. Well, we recommend Doorloop highly to other people that are running property management companies, or if you're managing your own small portfolio of properties, we would say give Doorloop at least a chance. Look at their software, look what they're offering and see if it's right for you.
