We have handed this off to our client & our client is thrilled about the ease of use, the reports, and the customization for their events & shows. A+ service + software all-around.
No more adding ugly PAY HERE buttons on my website, I just enter my credit card company's info into the site and boom, I'm taking cards.
This company is well staffed, and their product and implementation adept, efficient, and innovative. The customer service is also outstanding.
Unable to use packages and the shopping cart feature. With multiple packages, we have to run multiple charges for a customer, can raise concern.
We love the price partnered with all the incredible features. Also, Thundertix is ALWAYS working to improve and is ALWAYS adding new and exciting features based on their customers requests.
Our customers hated paying add on fees, and Thundertix was the only company that we found that did not charge that way.
The support is outstanding and their documentation is comprehensive. Our customers think the process is seamless and clear, and we have had no reports of a negative customer experience to date.
With 70 tables and 700 seats it has been a little difficult for users to determine available seating by being required to hover over each individual table to see how many seats are left.
Really great product, fantastic ease of use. Highly recommend using Ticket Tailor, a great price structure too.
I've asked the question but Ticket Tailor has referred me to Stripe, however Stripe don't show you what you've made per product, only money coming in. So it's a bit of an annoying vicious circle.
Very easy to set up ticketing for events and has excellent and responsive customer service. Good value for not for profit charity and parent staff association.
There’s also not an option to cancel a single ticket if it’s part of a larger order so we need to do a weird manual work around here.
A friend recommended it and I was attracted to it being independent and has a friendly and responsive team of staff. The software is easy to use even for those of us who are not techy.
I don't necessarily have anything I dislike. The only thing is maybe not being able to upgrade to a different ticket purchase after already making a purchase.
It was super easy to create my first event, to add payment options and easily share links to my ticket page. I like the ability to be able to rack where my main clicks came from too.
Evenbrite is hopeless for my older clients in terms of online events.
Brienne: Hi, my name is Brienne, I am the founder of a local marketing agency, and I am the only employee. I rate ThunderTix as a five out of five. The prior platform that I was using was an extension of Snap's website builder called Ecwid, and it became clear very quickly that between the clunky setup and the very minimal features that we needed for this client, that it would not do us any good. I even had to end up hiring out two extra team members part-time, and we all still couldn't figure it out. Ecwid's customer service was terrible, and so it became imperative that we found an easier solution because at that point, I had less than 24 hours to launch the ticketing site for my client. I had a little window of time to research some of the ticketing sites online, and what I appreciated about ThunderTix is they got back to me immediately with some of the questions I had before I chose them, and both the price point and the features we needed to start right off, within a mere day or two, were available immediately. We also knew that we needed a donation ability and fundraising ability to our campaign, and they were very clear that that was easy and possible through their site. Ticketing sites are not my forte. I am someone who likes to delegate out. But because I had about 24 hours to get this launched for my client's performance season that was beginning, I found the ease of setup extremely straightforward, the elements for creating events, for creating donations, for getting the links set and out into my website, into social media, that was really straightforward. Most importantly, this was by far the most exceptional customer service that I've ever received, pretty much from any outside provider that I've worked with, software and otherwise. They responded to my questions, they have tons of trainings, and I needed some quicker turnaround, so they responded to my questions promptly. They're always kind and patient, and for those of you in the ticketing world, this may be something that you're very used to, but for someone learning the platform in such a short amount of time and having that kind of support and encouragement, this made all the difference in me being able to get the product set up, get it out for my client, and ultimately have better results than what they've had in past performance seasons. ThunderTix would be my top choice for anyone primarily because of the ease and straightforward setup. I am someone who likes drag and drop, show me how to do it, visual, and also for their customer service. When you are in a crunch, when there is something that you aren't understanding and you need to know that answer, their customer service and their team has been exceptional. They are prompt with responding, which I really appreciated when I was working on this over weekend hours, for example. And they also are very clear in their instructions. That's the distinguishing factor for some of the other sites that I had been researching, wasn't quite as obvious what the steps were, and for those who are in the ticketing world, this is something that is so comprehensive, even down to the variety and types of reports that you can print. Now, for me, I'm still pretty straightforward, I need just certain data to give to my client, but the reports options are extensive. So whatever you might need, whatever you might need to look at for your event, your ticket types, your patrons, your fundraising campaign, for these elements, there are so many things that I would encourage folks to try with ThunderTix first, and this is me not even yet utilizing all the capabilities that I can tell that their site provides. So I've been really grateful, I would say looking forward, we're going to be adding gift certificates, we're going to be using their built-in mailer and reminders, it's really exciting what's already happened and improved for my client's performance season success, and ticket sales and donations, and I know there's more to come.
Isaac: Good morning. My name is Isaac. I am a self-employed musician. I teach a lot of guitar lessons, I present concerts, and I recently used Ticket Tailor to present my first big concert with about 50 in attendance, and I would rate this app a solid five out of five. So, my problem was I was looking to sell tickets ahead of time, sell tickets online, and take card payments and all three of those things in one place. There's a few different organizations that do this, but Ticket Tailor was recommended to me as the cheapest and the easiest to use. So, my main and most extensive use of it is to create a site where I can sell tickets online to future events. There are two things that I like most about Ticket Tailor, and I would say the first one is just the... What's the word? The ease of use. It's intuitive, it runs like almost any other program that you would expect. There's buttons where there should be buttons. They do the things they should do. The second thing that I like the most about Ticket Tailor is that it is a pay-as-you-go system. So when you are selling tickets, they'll skim maybe... The total comes to about 10% profits skimmed off the top of your sales, but there is no $500, $800 investment into fees, getting it set up before you're able to sell tickets. The only thing that I wasn't totally satisfied with was Ticket Tailor, they work with Stripe, the payment processor. So, they're to get a handheld ticket sales scanner, so you could say, "Oh, hello, welcome. Would you like to buy 10 tickets? Let me take your card and scan it," that was not a simple or an easy process. I ended up foregoing that. I was able to do a workaround. I would just pull up the side of my laptop, look at the card, manually type it in. For a gigantic event where you're taking 5,000, 10,000 people, you wouldn't be able to do that. You'd have to go the route where you get a Stripe payment processor and then you connect it to the account. I didn't do it, I don't know how easy it is, but it looked confusing. So, I didn't have the resources to make that happen, but a large organization probably would.
