The reports are probably the worst part of this software. I found it difficult to run reports that would work with our accounting software directly.
The onboarding was great, we had all queries answered and the turn around was great. We also appreciate the integration with Microsoft 365 for user signin.
The Orange HRM is not easy to setup and it is also not very stable. There is a risk of the system crushing and user losing all the stored data.
Excellent management information, it's easy to use. Software functionality is great as wells as its cost, it bring you good tools to improve the development and selection of personnel in your company.
My real problem is with customer support. For example to add a new type of leave, you have to have the folks at Orange add it.
Customer services is very good quality. Every one easy to learn and understood this software, it is one of the good management software.
I adapted some labels to meet our needs and I have no programming skills to do that. Changed the logo, changed some titles and hide what we will not use.
I've been very happy with Vacation Tracker. IT beats using a spreadsheet for PTO and the CS team has always been supe responsive and super helpful.
What was our main problem was after someone within the office took some vacations days did not know then how many days he/she has left (we were using Semesterlistan, a Swedish company).
Love that it goes straight to the approves email and then you get notified when your request is approved or denied. Added your leave to the company calendar is great as well.
Inability to ask for time off in hours not days.
We’re super happy with the app, as it has made leave monitoring super easy, and everyone is aware of planned vacations on time which makes things a lot easier.
Unfortunately there is no simple way to to switch from one integration to another which resulted into deleting our account and recreating it using the Slack integration.
Our overall experience with Vacation Tracker has been great. It’s easy to use and our entire team loves it.
It is easy for users to submit and cancel leave. It is limited on intuitiveness for time accrual.

Yeah, we used an app called TimeBot before Vacation Tracker, and I think the thing that sold us on a Vacation Tracker was the easy access to the calendar that was always synced and up-to-date and just all the features that made it very easy to use through Slack. We chose Vacation Tracker because it seemed like it had a lot of features. We liked that we could easily request time off through Slack, but also log into a dashboard and request time off that way as well. And we liked all the features regarding the visualization of the calendars and the time off charts. That really helps us planning for our team's time away from the office. Yeah, it was super easy to onboard and integrate with Vacation Tracker. They have someone that will work with you and go through the whole software with you, answer any questions and help you set it up for the way that you need to use it for your team. For anyone that's wanting to give Vacation Tracker a try, I would recommend a free trial. And working with the team that will help you meet with you over Zoom and give you a tour of the software, that really helps speed up the process and get us onboarded very quickly. And we were able to use Vacation Tracker within a day after that, so I would definitely recommend them.
