GymMaster vs Gymcatch: Which is a better fit?

Amazing financial reports and member management. We have been using Gymmaster for almost a year and we love everything about this software and the company.

The system sometimes fails and over charges members.

Data collection is also fantastic. Staff are friendly and do their best to assist with any issues that arise.

Navigating through the backend in the very beginning was a little frustrating at first, as there are a lot of options, and some of the phrasing can be a little confusing until you get used to it.

Integrated billing is easy to use and works great - makes life easy. There are a ton of options in the settings that allow me to set everything up in a way that works best for my specific club.

Currently there’s no 2-way SMS which means when clients reply you have to find the reply in your email then take it back to a separate SMS platform.

We have been using gymmaster for about 6 years and it has been an excellent product, easy to use, easy to tailor to our circumstances, staff need very little training to use, reliable and updates.

I did struggle a bit with finding which reports would give me the information I was after.

Awesome support- this is the best feature from my view. I have 3 challenges and support have responded on the same day and within minutes of me sending emails.

Some features that were missing have now been included, such as participation waivers.

So many videos and posts showing you how to do it too. I hope the GC team are proud of their high level of support to their customers - really superb all-round.

Awkward to migrate existing customers into GC system.

One of the best features I find that this app has is the option to refund a client with a class pass rather than actually removing money from my account, a win win in my opinion.

I really didn't want an app that was too time consuming and would lead me to neglect my clients and take away that personal experience by constantly having to update or rework an app.

It's been perfect for my needs, and especially good during the lockdowns and other Covid restrictions, so that I have good records and can keep bookings in line with government requirements.
