GymMaster vs CompuDance: Which is a better fit?

Amazing financial reports and member management. We have been using Gymmaster for almost a year and we love everything about this software and the company.

The system sometimes fails and over charges members.

Data collection is also fantastic. Staff are friendly and do their best to assist with any issues that arise.

Navigating through the backend in the very beginning was a little frustrating at first, as there are a lot of options, and some of the phrasing can be a little confusing until you get used to it.

Integrated billing is easy to use and works great - makes life easy. There are a ton of options in the settings that allow me to set everything up in a way that works best for my specific club.

Currently there’s no 2-way SMS which means when clients reply you have to find the reply in your email then take it back to a separate SMS platform.

We have been using gymmaster for about 6 years and it has been an excellent product, easy to use, easy to tailor to our circumstances, staff need very little training to use, reliable and updates.

I did struggle a bit with finding which reports would give me the information I was after.

I always experience top quality customer service from each representative that helps me when i call in with questions. Would recommend this software for your dance studio needs.

The fact that EVERYTHING needed to be recreated from scratch (versus imported) when you upgraded to the current version is unbelievable, and caused a ridiculous amount of work/frustration.

I have had excellent experience with CompuDance. I love that they keep improving and want input.

That would mean making a group for every little thing you do. Also, mailing labels look awful.

It has completely changed the way we run our studio. We love it AND even better, our dance families love it.

Difficult to enter data, impossible to pull a simple list of receivables for the front desk daily. No online help/tutorial...human returns phone calls Mon-Fri.

It is very easy to learn, I love all the features from billing to class scheduling to Costume measuring and the staff is very helpful.

Honestly, nothing is easy - and it should be. Deposits are impossible to find and make logging payments very confusing - no matter which view you use (and why are there two to begin with?).
