Filevine is perfect for legal teams who want to streamline team processes and bring on new clients without increasing overhead. Firm sizes range from 1 to 5,000 users.
Law firms in the following practice areas: Personal Injury, Med Mal, Family, Social Security, Bankruptcy, Veterans, Insurance Defense, Mass Tort, Corporate, Public Sector, and more.
The best feature has been the reporting function. There are a lot of good things about Filevine and I am glad we selected it.
I have to admit am rather upset that FileVine is forcing me to pay for users that we don't have (FV makes you pay once a year and at some point we had some interns who briefly used the software).
Overall, it's been a great site for a newcomer like me, and making everything easy and organized for all legal documentation.
The layout was not streamlined, it could be difficult to go where you wanted to. There was a struggle in organization, costs were high, and it was difficult to have multiple users working.
For the larger firms, this program works beautifully and comes at a better price point. We have several thousand clients in the database and it functions wonderfully.
We used to be able to drag the photos from the page they were opened on. Now, we have to hit download and when another screen appears, we can drag the photo from there.
Filevine was by far the most superior out of all of the choices. I am very pleased with the Filevine.
Look also at how many users have to hire independent implementation consultants to make anything happen. The implementation timeline and costs are therefore very dishonest.
I love the features it offers and the reports that can generate from it. It is very easy to access and the customer service has been great.
First off there was severe downtime because of database errors and then the overall intake system is lacking in every field all the way from duplicate management to marketing options.
I really like how it seamlessly blends to Outlook, Word, PDF. I like the ease of use and being able to create multiple documents at once.
I cannot imagine running a personal injury practice without Needles.
The customer support is top notch and training support wonderful. They have a client website full of useful info.
Ultimately, found out that I could code an if than statement in Needles should I want to use pronouns. Each bookmark in Neos will eat up a line or two of your template, which makes for errors.
I love the reporting features and dashboards that allows me measure KPIs efficiently. Our transition to Neos was quick and easy with great support from the Neos team.
I was very exited about the change. Unfortunately, I feel it takes a lot of time out of the work day when the system is not working properly.
Jacqueline: Hi, I am Jackie. I'm the office manager here at Legal Focus. We're a law firm here in Windsor, Ontario. We use Filevine and I give it a five-star review. We just used the paper methods, so we had a ton of filing cabinets and lots of boxes stored of paper, and there was no electronic storage of any of our client files. We switched over to Filevine as COVID was hitting and forcing us to work remotely, and it wasn't feasible to transfer all the paper files to the home offices. And so we looked for a file management program that would be able to be easy to use and designed for the legal industry. The upfront setup is a bit tedious because you have to scan in all of your paper files and create your projects, but once the system is set up to add a new file, it's quite simple. Filevine has a lot of capabilities, including digital signing through Vinesign and also integration with financial software, and also has a built-in billing program. So I'm suggesting that anyone thinking of using Filevine, examine their entire firm's requisites for operating, not just for file storage, but to be able to use all of the other components to make it a fulsome experience.
Prioritize real-user-identified key features according to your needs to find your best fit.
