Celoxis is used by businesses of all sizes and industries. Teams, project coordinators, PMOs, managers, and executives rely on its insights and dashboards to optimize resources and drive success.
With Project, anyone can get started quickly and collaborate with remote teams anywhere.
Excellent user interface, durable solution, endless customization alows you to create any build almots any View or analysis you wish to see. Excellent, fast, agile service.
While entering defects, the fields for the defect description and file attachments are placed way below at the bottom of the form. The defect entry field is not wide enough, and is short.
What I like best about Celoxis is its flexibility in reporting. The reporting is so robust that it lets me create all sorts of complex portfolio and resource reports even on my business fields.
Usability of the Celoxis system for PMs reduces if they are unable to have all their human resources in the system and making the entire tool ineffective.
Communication and documentation are very good. A great tool that has all-encompassing features for solid waterfall based project management.
The UX needs improvements, the flows are confusing and menu structures are often complex. I get very frustrated with the position of buttons on the screens and organisation of the timesheets.
I have also been very impressed with the online help team who have been very responsive and I am very pleased to report that all the features I need in PM software are included in Celoxis.
The navigation through the dashboard and into tasks/projects feels cumbersome and the was experiencing some errors with time entry via timeline.
It has a range of powerful features that make it easy to create and manage complex projects. It has a great set of reporting tools that allow you to easily generate reports to track progress.
My only negative regarding this software is that it's costly.
I am about to use this software for creating reports and thankful that their customer support is very eager to help me so I can do my project and be familiar on the features of the software.
The disadvantage that I see with this software is that it requires an additional license to the Office suite. This should be in the general package.
This helps me in making simple looking data into much more creative and attractive and it looks great at visualising. Easy to use and simple user-interface.
Customization is poor and the process of the license is too much.
Use simple, the function is powerful, rich project template, can help the team to solve the examination and approval, newsletters, manage a lot of work.
Simple error in typing the dates or days of activities can lead to complications if not caught immediately.
Rylee: My name is Rylee. I'm the operations manager for a residential construction company. I give Celoxis a four out of five and for more reviews like this, click below. Prior to Celoxis, we tried ConstructionOnline. It was nice, but a little of a price range. We've also used Smartsheets and QuickBooks as well. I like that it's very customizable and I like the Gantt chart view that you can move it however you want, and the workflow automation is great. Integration and onboarding was pretty easy. We did a lot of it ourselves after the demo that we had. It explained it very well. We were able to integrate our other apps that we use, QuickBooks and things like that. And we were able to get everything started pretty quickly. I recommend just giving Celoxis a try. It's very detail oriented. It's got a lot of different customizable features that you and your team can use and scheduling doesn't really have any kinks. It's pretty great.
Karan S.: Hi, my name is Karan. I'm currently working as a consultant in a cybersecurity consulting company. I would like to rate MS Project as a rating of four out of five. Prior to using a Microsoft Project, I was using another tool, which is called Planner, which is kind of the web interface based tool. The problems which I was really facing with that tool was that it was about the functionalities. It didn't really have a lot of advanced and modern features as what my MS Project has and MS Project is more widely acceptable across different companies and that's why I'm planning to use that. I'm using Microsoft Project more efficiently right now because the way the information is organized in this tool is much more modern and it's more user-friendly. It's more easy to use. It's widely acceptable for different departments. Everybody's kind of used to that. It's easy to communicate through MS Project and helps achieve the work effort more easily. So bringing in Microsoft Project was not easy in the beginning because we had to provide training to all our users who have to use MS Project. It's not at first just seeing the tool could be complex, but we had to really get through the documentations and knowledge articles to understand this tool and we had to also do a lot of user communication, planning, user training and awareness for this tool to make it widely acceptable amongst all the departments and to promote the usage of this new tool across the organization. I would highly recommend if you want to start leveraging this new tool, Microsoft Project, across organization is to start looking at the licensing and cost aspect of it because licensing can be tricky. If we want to adapt to this Microsoft licensing, we really need to start planning on how to actually assign these licenses to what kind of people because not everybody should be using MS Project and the license could be expensive too. So maybe only the affiliated people who are working more towards project planning and project management this tool can be really helpful and I would also recommend [inaudible 00:02:51] to promote a lot of awareness amongst users who are going to be using to start adapting this tool through maybe brochures or email communications and also provide them training documentations at the same time so that they will start adapting to this new tool quickly and efficiently and this can be widely acceptable.
