Arena PLM vs Oracle Fusion Cloud PLM: Which is a better fit?

Overall experience has been great. Arena support, Arena Help, and pagetips is are very helpful.

Report writer is old and awkward and needs overhaul. Inability to provide searches/filters/reports based on stage of route for change orders.

The thing I liked most about the product was the ability to customize it to fit our needs.

Weak control of regulatory items such as RoHS/REACH.

I've never felt like I was forced to change my workflow with any of the updates, and if I need any help their customer service is excellent.

The initial layout of information when reviewing items within Arena can be unclear at times.

Many useful features that allow for supported processes to be robust.

The UI has lots of small text and empty space.

I like how it allows you to manage your products while also giving a very friendly and forgiving interface.

Fewer contracts and specs could mean higher risk. Communication and coordination is more complicated.

Solid PLM, used it for several years. Reliable and robust solution.

The program can feel a little outdated and inferior at times. Sometimes glitchy, slow performance.

As a collaborate tool seems to be really good and helpful to get all the team involved and updated on the different projects that can affect their jobs in a direct or indirect way.

Sometimes its hard to navigate to get to what you need.

The variable work flows you can use in the system and the ability to configure it so suppliers and customers can access it makes it very powerful.

You need to know what you're doing. Gets boring and I need to get up occasionally or I will fall asleep.
