We are a growing company and with that comes with growing pains. Tracs has been great in helping us grow our company and looking into the features we need for the future.
No one want's to listen to our problems or resolve those problems. I emailed several complaints to I guess if you want to call the sales reps they do not reply.
I have always had a great experience with NAPA TRACS. The installation, updates, technical support, and feature enhancements are all easy to comprehend and their online training is awesome.
I also hate that the RO numbers do not come up when you order from anyone except Napa. Instead it puts a generic purchase order number and you have to guess what the part is for when it gets here.
Previously we had used AllData Manage and it could not look up vins or license plates and we love that we can do that through this program. The customer service is fantastic.
VIN decoder for late model vehicles isn't always accurate, and often times transfers the wrong vehicle to the labor guide.
Overall it is easy to use and the outside help if needed is happy to help.
Having used another system for years it was very hard to use. Hitting "history" won't get you what you expect and so on.
It has been a game changer in locating quality parts for a fair price and allows us to provide better service and quality to our customers without sacrificing efficiency.
AND that now Parts Tech is pretty much a vessel to open SpeedDial and Rowerdink up in their own stand alone windows to place orders. This makes PartsTech damn near useless.
What I like the most is the ability to look up one part and see prices from all of my top vendors. I also love that the part numbers and prices transfer to the invoice seamlessly.
Now update after update it gets worse and worse. IDK if its our sources just don't utilize it effectively or if PartsTech is just circling the drain.
The program is very user friendly and has good notes as to when certain parts are needed for certain options for vehicle.
We hear they are looking at a labor guide (motor) which is arguably the WORST labor guide to use.
I love that I can look up the same part on 5 different platforms and it works flawlessly.
Need to go back and add to quantity line. Very annoying when you didn't catch it and only ordered some of the parts the first purchase order.
