ABBYY FineReader PDF vs Tungsten Power PDF: Which is a better fit?

I like ABBYY Reader because it's a very quick and easy way to edit PDF documents as well as view them. I use it as my default viewer, but I also use it to edit documents and find it very useful. What I like the most about ABBYY FineReader is the compare documents function that allows me to compare two different PDF documents without converting the documents to any other format. It highlights the changes for me and allows me to save time that otherwise I would spend trying to compare documents line by line. There really isn't anything that I would change about this ABBYY FineReader. It is the perfect solution for my business. We are in the business of dealing with legislation and so looking at multiple versions of bills, it's very important to be able to tell what the changes are. And that's what we find most useful about ABBYY Reader as well was being able to edit PDF documents on the fly.

We looked at a number of PDF alternative solutions, the main one being Adobe Acrobat. We looked at lots of factors, functionality against cost to choose the one we went with. So the reasons we chose Power PDF from Kofax is due to the full availability of all the functions that we needed, and we mainly use that for editing, PDFs, semi-signature work, and a lot of conversion. So we're regularly converting office documents into PDFs and this product does that very well. And it also allows us to do PDF forms very, very easily as well. All of those features come at a great cost with Power PDF, so that's why we chose it. So the product's very easy to install and set up. The features that we use predominantly are very intuitive. There's a very good dashboard and ribbon that gives you all the main features you want to use. If you do get a little bit stuck, there's a lot of information around on YouTube and also on the help within the product to help you get the most out of it. And I'll be honest, there's so many features in there that we don't use. We can grow and grow and do more and more with it. I would definitely say download the trial. They do offer a trial period. We used that first to give it an evaluation, it's full-featured. We were absolutely delighted with it, and that's the reason why we tried it, and that's the reason why it got chosen by us because we could evaluate it in full.
