SYSPRO vs Cetec ERP: Which is a better fit?

Engage the workers on their true needs in regards to fit form and function prior to making any investment. I highly recommend Syspro due to the flexibility and ease of learning the software.

You have to click, a lot and some of the menus are confusing. There were no links to other records, you had to manually open the right module and start over again to find related records.

The support is great and they are always enhancing the product. Our CRR is awesome and very helpful.

We are the rare company that is in the middle - we don't hate Syspro, but we don't like it either.

Its good for procurement and just regular accounting. Doing a journal is simple and easy and the company can have different level of approval for each journals.

As many of our customers have service budgets, often we have to bill items through a month end; billing in a different period can mess up our customer budgets.

We have been using Syspro software for approximately 12 years and have been very satisfied. Software and database upgrades have been excellent.

Things can occasionally go wrong with a specific port (patch) and core functionality can be impacted. Syspro are quick to respond to these issues though.

Cetec ERP is very user friendly and has served us well. The team is responsive to our questions and ideas on how to customize the system to best fit our company's individual needs.

We find that as we build a BOM quote for a customer we had missed several key components and thereby undercutting ourselves.

Only advice: Get your data up to speed, have a good migration plan, and you will be very very happy.

Missing a few features that should be standard for production (stock in multiple Revisions, ECO for stock items, etc.).

Working with the support team was wonderful as their time was dedicated to our company - we worked with the same people throughout the entire process so they knew our company well.

For our application, the RMA process is difficult and we can't use the invoice cancel option.

The integration of all data across business functions, real time updating, and high level ease of use. Solid phone/email support, good reporting, and easy to utilize tables and fields.

There is no worry about having to integrate between two systems to share the date from general business processes to the financials.
