Sage Intacct vs Google Sheets: Which is a better fit?

So I use Sage Intacct at our company for purchase requisitions. So on a day-to-day basis, we basically put in information based on the budget needs. And then we let our payroll and finance team know what our team is and our departments are doing, what kind of budgets and money we need to be approved for. And they're categorized by the different budgets that we have in place. One of the great things I like about Sage Intacct is a lot of options. So you can search in many different ways. You can copy over your purchase requisitions without starting from scratch. You can view what you've had over a very long period of time. So you can compare, maybe backtrack if you need. And there's a lot of different columns and categories that you can actually filter your information by. So that makes it easier in a sense to make sure you're really tagging the right budget. You're really putting the requisitions in the right categories, so that you can find the money that you need and make sure it gets tagged into the correct aspects of the budget. Some of the things that are a bit problematic about Sage Intacct, I would say is also a double edge sword. Even though you can categorize your budget by a lot of different types of information, that's also a problem, because it can get really confusing for people if you don't use it on a daily basis, maybe someone who's training for the first time, only uses it once a month to put in a purchase requisition. It can be a little bit hard for them to find all the different categories and know what they mean. On the other hand, there's also errors often and the errors can push through. So when you put a purchase requisition through and maybe the budget category is warning you that there might be issues with it, but you can go ahead and push it through. So I have mix feelings about that. I'm not on the finance team, so I can't speak from them how they feel when they receive it. But on my side of things, seeing that I can actually still push them through. I'm not sure how that affects the finance team when they do the budgets.

I'm using Google Sheets for a variety of problems, but predominantly tracking finances and determining rates and things like that. Mostly addition kind of things. Primarily, I like that Google Sheets is free and it provides probably 80% or 90% of the functionality of the desktop spreadsheet app in a cost free package. One area that I think Google Sheets needs to work on is import/export. So if I'm importing a spreadsheet from a desktop package that includes some formulas, sometimes those get lost, and vice versa.
