George R.: Hi, this is George. I'm an IT executive in the association nonprofit space, and I give YourMembership a four. We move multiple associations over to YourMembership. At the time, we were moving from and considered products such as MemberClicks and iMIS. However, we found, in some cases, the software was over complex and over serviced the different associations, and therefore, cost them much more than was needed. And in some cases, they were just too simple and didn't have enough industry standard interfaces that would allow us to integrate other systems with them. We chose YourMembership because of the large organization of Community Brands that stands behind it. It's nice to know you have a vendor that has a large organization that's going to support it in case it's needed. In addition, the software we felt was easy to use with lots of different training available for people to use and go through. In addition, the reporting available in the system was very straightforward and allowed some of our end users to generate their own reports. But I guess at the end of the day, the difference maker for us was the cost and the value for dollar that you were getting from YourMembership. YourMembership already comes with a lot of really good integrations, including different credit card processors and other applications from the Community Brands family of products. But other than that, it also has a really strong open API set which allows you to connect best of breed software packages that you might want that are not currently available within the YM feature set, such as a more feature rich content management system for your website or a learning management system. If you're looking at YourMembership, the first thing that you want to do is you want to look at your own business processes. You want to make sure your business processes are standardized and as few exceptions as possible, as YourMembership is a software as a service system and is configurable, not customizable. Also, as you move forward and you're doing the actual implementation, take the time to clean your data. Make sure your data is good, strong, and scrubbed of any bad data that could cause problems down the road. This is the one opportunity you have to do it as you export it out of your old system and import it into the new. The last thing I'd recommend is during the implementation, be an active participant. Make sure you're working with YourMembership to make sure your data goes in, and as they give you opportunities to check their work and validate it, make sure you validate it at that time.
