AppFolio Property Manager vs Hotelogix: Which is a better fit?

The entire staff at Appfolio was so friendly and encourging during the short transition and the tutorials were awesome. It changed my life and my staff love using Appfolio.

Going through and adding charges to every account we set up is inconvenient, and leaves a large room for human error.

The ability to run reports for our clients and send them via the system, ease of communicating with boards and owners, excellent web site support, very good technical support.

Inventory was never accounted for and would come up missing. We are in the process of putting our inventory in Appfolio so there is accountability when things come up missing.

Whenever I have had a question, the tech support has been outstanding and they often go the extra mile to make my job easier. Love the dashboard where everything can be seen at a glance.

When we choose the software, we thought because it was marketed as something that handled "NYC DHCR" leases but that's is misleading.

I do enjoy it, the customer services has been amazing to work with. We are still getting used to the program, and how to best use it.

Totally closed system (no open API), so it's impossible to integrate other things with. Their in-house call center is expensive and poor value for the money, considering wait times.

We are working with Hotelogix for a year now, the team is very helpful and is working constantly in upgrading its services. Very good customer care approach.

This has been a horrendous experience and the support staff doesn't understand the severity of the issue. We have had several double bookings due to sudden integration failures with booking.com.

And by not being an expert , I have an advantage on judging a software interface and usability. Great product that I would like to see in Greek Hotel Market too.

We hate night audit but understand other properties needing it. When you do locate a help area you have no option to "search" for your problem.

We found that Hotelogix was by far the best solution: easy to use, easy to install, feature rich and cost effective. We are sure that our partnership will bring a big value added to Hotels in Morocco.

A missing feature is a manual for troubleshooting.

I think overall it's a good system and it is pretty user friendly as you go through it. The different departments is definitely a nice feature.

Those issues have been fixed quickly by the support staff but really hurt our reputation even if it just happens a few times. Again, completely unreliable.
