Customer service was pretty good... which is good because you will use them a LOT.
Tried to stick it out even though there were a lot of problems from the get go but can't afford to lose any more money from this awful software company.
I have been with MacPractice since their original formation. Always professional, and always as helpful as possible, they have been a pleasure to work with.
We always had all kinds of errors popping up on the server so many that they had to actually write a program just to monitor them and still never got it fixed. Caused all kinds of problems.
We trained on this system over the weekend and were good to go by monday. The support team is very knowledgeable and can easily remote in to look at any issues you are having and help with them.
The videos available to watch for demonstration are totally misleading. The company does not want to talk to their clients if there is a concern.
Ease of electronic billing and ledger. They were great in beginning of 2010 promised to do better and each year they have let us down worse than year before.
So much frustration for 6K not including all the extra's that go with it. Dropped them after just 1 yr.
My overall experience with Practice Pro is good. I have used other EHR systems and this is by far the best in regards to customization, ease of use on the therapist, and efficiency.
When they first did this, I had headache issues. Now, it's just a distraction.
I really like the ease of scheduling patients and how everything is one or two clicks away. I also like Physiotec; the program is very helpful with great pictures and instructions.
Try to avoid having the same feature in several different areas. That can actually become more confusing.
The fact that I can make it everything I want it to be is wonderful. Customer service is usually extremely supportive and I feel like they take into account my opinions as a therapist.
There is way too much room for error; providers are able to unlock notes after locking them to change the documentation. Instead of unlocking and re-locking, they should have to do an amended note.
We love the support team at PT Practice Pro. The software is intuitive, user friendly, and provides fantastic reporting.
It becomes awkward to communicate back and forth utilizing followups only.
