Katana Cloud Inventory vs Global Shop Solutions: Which is a better fit?

The Shop Floor app has been brilliant for us to track production/assembly time more accurately. This has been a great help in pinpointing an accurate cost per unit.

I am still little bit worried about lack of backup available to the user. There should be method to revert in time for example.

The ease of re-prioritising jobs, and the automatic stock refactoring is awesome, and the team are really, really responsive to feature ideas and issues.

Glitches with accurate purchase prices showing up in overall product list. Described it to customer service and they denied it being a problem.

Customer service has been outstanding to help me learn features and problem solve. Very friendly and helpful.

If somebody messed up something, there is no way to go back.

I love the ease of setup with this tool, and the ability to integrate it so well with all of our other platforms.

It was woefully inadequate for our needs, but traditional MPR software was too complicated and expensive.

GSS is a complete system with great integration between, manufacturing, accounting, quality and engineering all with great customer support and always with an eye on the future.

When I first started working at Profab the ERP system that they had was horrible to use, and there was no check and balances before posting things to the system.

I wish all my vendors were as good as Global Shop. Thank you again for your efforts and yes you have your hands full with training but a very important business process.

We were just forced to do another update - We avoid and delay doing updates because global shop does not do any testing to see what and how the updates will affect other parts of the system.

The most important is Global Shop Solution is highly ethical and social responsibility. That is usually a good sign of how well the company is and how prosperous their future will be.

We cannot look them up in help and there is no forum nor other place to find out what an error means. So we usually have to submit a support ticket unless we have already encountered the error.

Global Shop has given our company a wonderful infrastructure for cost evaluation and reporting. It is also wonderful at time tracking for employee time on machines, jobs, or process.

While many of these have been addressed through updates, there are some withstanding. There is a lack on continuity from module to module as it pertains to search functions and feature properties.
