EMA® EHR features adaptive learning in 10 specialties. gGastro® EHR serves gastroenterology. They integrate with our Practice Management and gPM™ systems, all accessed via tablet, browser or mobile.
All-in-one EHR, practice management, patient engagement, image management, and optical point-of-sale software for optometrists and ophthalmologists.
Despite the simplicity of the design, this software is an extremely powerful tool and does an amazing job at capturing every aspect of patient care.
This means loss of revenue for the practice. The reminder system is also very redundant and I have had numerous patient complaints over it.
The online training was great and timely (we fit the sessions within a month and this gave me time to spare for going online in time for October 2012). Customer service has also been wonderful.
I have reported this to the company but have only been told that it is being "looked into. I am very concerned that this information from the old paper charts has been lost.
Its easy to use, intuitive, and robust; support is excellent, the company is responsive, and constantly improving the software.
Although there was an attempt to be organized, it fell a little short. I also hated the bridging errors we would get from EMA to our billing software.
Modernizing Medicine better known as EMA is by far one of the most user friendly and easy to navigate products on the market. I like the big print and colors that are easy on the eye.
When a problem arises, sometimes you cannot reach someone directly and leaving an email is not always convenient. The response is too delayed and very frustrating.
They continue to improve and now have what looks to be an outstanding product with a continuous commitment to the best customer service out there.
My biggest problem is my limited understanding of computer/software issues. This makes it difficult for me to explain problems when they are occur.
It has been a good choice to go with maximize. They have the best customer service or any EHR I have worked with and that is key for success with any EHR.
I hate all the pop up windows when opening up MaximEyes. It takes forever to load on our computers.
The customer service team is always pleasant and helpful and all of the staff appreciate that.
Their old Filemaker database application is out-of-date and causes many development and deployment problems.
The support is amazing and they do a great job walking us through the difficult world of EMR.
Only con I can think of is on very rare occasions the system may lag & that could always have to do with our internet connection.
