The whole system is amazing and gives me flexibility and guidance at the same time. I am confident it is helping my business.
The marketing add-on is VERY expensive and there is no option for the Solo person. The software is geared to the enterprise which is too bad.
This is what I like about HubSpot. Once you become more of an enterprise level though, solutions like Salesforce is probably the better choice.
I hate that the utm parameters are getting stripped from pageviews. It makes everything so much more difficult.
I love how user-friendly HubSpot is. It has a ton of functionality and comes at a pretty good price for what you get.
Workflows can be confusing and hard to understand at times.
There is a lot you can learn from HubSpot and a great CRM for the companies that need a great work flow. Absolutely recommend this.
Now I am stuck with some defined items that are inaccessible.
The field ops feature where you can qualificate the performance of a franchisee and the areas where it can be improve its operational performance its great and with good features.
The system has a few inconveniences and quirks. Navigating with Groups of contacts can be difficult due to the inability to view more than 20 at a time.
I have worked with the support staff, and she is great. Over the years, I have the great fortune of working with some incredibly knowledgeable sales managers, and she is by far one of the best.
It is often slow and you have to wait for something going on in the background to switch screens or scroll. Not sure what causes this, but sometimes it is worse than others.
They are so, so, so good at what they do and I can see the 'smile' on their faces even though we're on the phone. Two of the reps helped me most recently and their help made my day SO MUCH BETTER.
Some problems with our social media not connect through with FranConnect.
Our team is able to create beautiful email templates that auto populate with great graphics. You can also track your open rates on your campaigns which is very useful information.
You have to know the owner or number name to search, which means you have to know all of your customers or refer to other office websites or spreadsheets, which can be time consuming and frustrating.
Monica: My name is Monica and I am an administrative and operations manager. Our company consists of 12 people and I would give HubSpot a 4-star rating. We were using Salesforce and the way it was described by my management was as an glorified database. Apparently, we did need support for every step that we needed to follow and support wasn't great, so it just took a lot of work to get simple tasks done. Yeah. I chose HubSpot myself actually. I did some research and I wanted a platform where I could have all of my activities in one place. So not only I have the CRM software, I can also distribute our newsletter and I can also get reports on the activity that I get with my customers and contacts. So initially, I tried it because it was a free platform that offered very sophisticated tools. And I ended up staying with it just because I can have everything in one place, even manage my social media accounts. At first, getting started with HubSpot was very easy. It is very intuitive. It is very well-designed. Later on, I did have some questions. I didn't have the time necessarily to explore the more complex tools, so I did reach out to the sales team. To be honest, it took some time to get an appointment. I got canceled three times so that wasn't great. But the software and the design itself is pretty good where I was able to set it up myself. I would say, if you want to try HubSpot, to watch some videos about all the capabilities. There is even a very short project-oriented course available online. I believe that it's on Coursera. That is very useful. They guide you through every step of the way and they show all the many different free tools that are available which is great because they're not pushing a sale. They are rather just teaching you how to use the software. And yeah, just watch a bunch of videos and do spend some time exploring the many available tools.
Rachel: My name is Rachel. I'm a freelancer in marketing. I give FranConnect a one. For more reviews, click down the link below. The software we used before was Salesforce. Salesforce was something that the company had used predominantly for everything. We switched over to FranConnect specifically from Salesforce. And we honestly didn't look at any other CRMs. It was specifically because we were enfranchised specifically. FranConnect was a specific software we looked toward directly and wanted to use directly because of that. We chose FranConnect specifically because of the leads that were coming in and the different plugins we could use with different softwares across the company that we used. FranConnect worked a little bit with our email marketing, our social media marketing. And when we were driving in leads that way specifically, it was able to come together under one house. And that's why we were looking at FranConnect specifically. Onboarding and integration was a hot mess, and that's putting it lightly. It was extremely hard to pull everything from Salesforce over to FranConnect. There was a lot of back and forth between the team of how we wanted to do things. A lot of it was internal specifically of how we wanted to do things, but it was also the software itself. The more we dug into FranConnect specifically, we realized that the software was not something that was easy to maneuver for not only ourselves, but the leads that were coming in specifically. So if you're looking for advice of getting FranConnect, I would suggest honestly, looking at other CRMs. Us moving from Salesforce to FranConnect, in my opinion, was detrimental. So if you already have a really good Salesforce specifically that you use and the software that you really understand and you use all around, stick with it. FranConnect, there are just other better options, CRM systems out there. I don't think FranConnect is good for franchising specifically because I think it's such a hot mess of a software.
