Feeling helpless and wondering if I would ever get my idea off the ground, I turned to POS Prophet Systems, just to give it a shot.
It is very user friendly and if you do need help they have a great team of techs to help you along the way. We used to use QuickBooks but needed to upgrade to a system that had real time data.
We use ball machines with the E-Range technology; therefore, we were limited on the software systems we could choose from.
Up until the format was updated we had a great handle on how to use the system to fit our needs. It has proven to be a great help in that multiple users can have access to the same information.
There is however an extreme lack of communication. We were not informed that the entire format was being changed and logged in one day to a new set-up with no option to revert back.
In an age of “robot support”, quickly accessing a real (and very kind) representative is just amazing. My favorite part of this software is how customizable it is to fit your personal needs.
Another thing I dislike is the limited information on reports.
I am very pleased with this software and I am excited for the new features that are planned for the upcoming year.
You have to go into the consignor's account and add inventory that solely belongs to that one consignor. It is inconvenient when we are putting in multiple inventory from multiple consignors.
Ease of use and the ability to customize the way we need to use it. The software updates are amazing and appropriate for our use.
The only "con" would be the inability to customize sales and inventory reports based on timeframes.
