Using UltraTax CS in the cloud setting has been frustrating at times due to the hosting.
The software is pretty robust. I use ACS (bookkeeping), Ultratax, and FileCabinet daily, and it works well for me.
Can be difficult to understand and become used to.
The best thing about UltraTax is knowing that the output will result in an accurate tax return every time.
We signed up end of June and our training didn't start until mid October. We were given 4 - 4hr sessions for the conversion (which we are still fighting) and how to us the program.
This is another great product by Thomson Reuters. TR puts a lot of thought, money and effort into their products.
If your new to this profession its hard learn. Sometimes it can get buggy too.
I have been using tax cloud and still am for over 4 years now they have great Service great prices and good work.
Changed pricing structure, yet they over charged and there is no one to communicate to and email bounces back. They don't provide any assistance on setting up Tax Categories.
The concept is wonderful, your account is easy to understand, the map and sales tax information is great.
Very poor to bad experience is all I can say about this software.
Customer support is outstanding. You can actually speak with a live person and the staff are extremely knowledgeable and helpful.
And NOW they're charging me a "rejection fee" because I've had to stop their activity directly at my bank. They do not answer emails, they will not acknowledge the account is closed.

And i've barely made any sales due to covid to begin with. This company has been nothing but a HUGE headache, i am so full of regret for ever signing up with them.
