We are committed to making the practice of law more profitable and the lives of legal professionals easier through the provision of software solutions that work the way lawyers do.
CARET Legal is designed for the evolving needs of mid-sized law firms and offers subscription packages to handle a variety of practice management needs.
Technical support, once paid for the subscription, has been very good and responsive. I like that they take remote control and help quickly to solve problems.
Our worst problems with Amicus have always been caused by integration with third-party programs such as PCLaw and especially Outlook/Exchange.
We are satisfied with the product. I believe the product actually offers more than what we use it for, I would appreciate a better understanding of how to use the product.
I feel abandoned by them. I bought the program because they worked with Apple, then they stopped doing that and forced me to buy a Parallels program just to keep using Amicus.
I love now love the amicus anywhere product so I can bill and make notes from anywhere. I also like the work flow and document customization.
Syncing with Outlook is painful, when it works. Customer support (even though we have prepaid for it) is worthless.
It has one of the best, native document generation modules in terms of features. It is a very decent, all in one law firm solution and priced at the same for other, less robust platforms.
We are just waiting out our contract to leave. The billing problem described above makes the program absolutely unusable.
Excellent company with great customer service. They are growing quickly and are on the leading edge of legal technology.
Since the company is unable to correct the problem, I must move on to the different product.
I also love the support Zola provides with real humans who are knowledgable about the product. Their follow up is outstanding.
There is very little that we dislike about Zola Suite. Anything that we have concerns about, they try to address and show us a proper way to manage.
Document management and automation are both outstanding in Zola. The user interface is outstanding.
In short, the software has damaged my practice because it cannot be trusted and because it is not the product we were sold.
Additionally, whenever I've needed advice or had issues, the quick and helpful customer care staff has been a great help.
Zola does integrate with Law Pay which has that feature, but the process gets clunky.
Jeff: Hi, my name is Jeff, I'm a partner at a small boutique firm. I give Zola Suite a five out of five. Prior to having Zola, we had a smattering of different programs that we were using. Nothing was in one place, we were using Microsoft Outlook, we were using an electronic document management software, but nothing was all in the same place. In addition to reviewing and using Zola Suite, we looked at Cleo and a couple of other similar practice management software and we ended up with Zola Suite. One of the principle reasons that we went with Zola Suite was the integration of the email platform into the general, I guess, the home screen. Or for each of the matters that you can have you can integrate the emails and you can save them to the files and you can have a full and complete review of each case that you're handling with all the different tabs that you can have. But principally, the reason we went with, was the ability to save emails into a matter. Zola Suite came to our office, met with us, met with all of our staff here. We had probably a half day tutorial. They also stayed here, communicated with each partner and associate attorney individually to make sure that they were comfortable with the whole process. Of course, like anything, you need your employees to buy in, and with Zola Suite, it was difficult to get people to actually buy in and follow your day to day requirements that you have. But once they did buy in, they realized how helpful that Zola Suite was to monitor cases as they go along. Zola Suite has been a great resource for our company. I would recommend that anyone that's interested in having a fully integrated legal management case, I guess, software available that they would Zola Suite. I would say that what I found to be very helpful is that Zola Suite's customer service... If you have a problem, they get back to you. And if you want a feature, they will work on it and they will eventually implement it for you. So we found that working with customer service has been a wonderful highlight of Zola Suite.
