Easy to use and organize. It's great for managing lessons and student progress with good automations.
There is also no active chat sections, and the lack of video conferencing is quite an appalling loss, especially since it is the most desired feature for online studies.
Moodle's feature-rich platform, exceptional user experience, and commitment to empowering educators and learners make it an outstanding choice for educational institutions and organizations worldwide.
Customizing is a headache. We are limited to their base themes and customizing from there.
Back then we were looking for a budget solution for implementing elearing in the company I was working for. It was a fun experience and community support was great.
But maybe it's because of the bad administration my university does.
This is like a great experience with my cousin elearning practices and all the way we feel like a classroom experience for them.
It is really difficult to navigate and find what you are looking for. The dashboard includes courses from current and previous semesters which is really confusing.
This is a very powerful software that allows educators to communicate with students very well. The ability to customize and create is awesome.
The text box that students use on Blackboard is terrible. The autocorrect of the text box is unable to recognize a lot of words and claims that it is not a real word and gives a red line underneath.
My favorite feature of this software is the ease of use. Not only is the software user friendly, but it is also reliable and allows me to do all my course work from reading to homework in one place.
What I don't like about Blackboard Collaborate is when it would crash and it happens a lot so it makes it frustrating to use this program. They got some bugs to work out.
The capacity to welcome outside visitors (like guests) makes this device a significant asset in furnishing understudies with introduction to an assortment of speakers and points.
We found out that the context varible neded to be setup to avoid this problem.
The overall quality, ease of use, features & functionality of blackboard make it a great software for college students and college campuses to invest in.
I teach at a community college and recently switched to Collaborate for my class. I teach adults who are able to handle most technical issues, but collaborate has been very frustrating to deal with.
Eladio M.: Hello, this is Eladio. I work in a producer of online courses. And I'm going to rate Moodle with four out of five stars. I have used many alternatives to Moodle, such as LMS and WordPress with LearnDash and Sensei. Moodle is the more powerful of all of them. I use Moodle because this is the all-in-one solution for e-learning. It has everything: tests, communication with the students. It is the most powerful tool in the market for this. I could give Moodle five star if it was was easier to use it, but the interface is very old, very little intuitive. And that's something they have to improve. If you are starting with Moodle right now, I would recommend that you look for expert advice. It is very tough to configurate, to set up and to put everything in place. So look for help.
Chris: Hi, I'm Chris. I'm an Assistant Director of Marketing. My rating for Blackboard Collaborate would be four out of five stars, and for more reviews like this, please click below. For Blackboard Collaborate, we use it on a daily basis to help communicate with students that are taking classes in virtual format. What I like most about Blackboard Collaborate is it integrates directly into the LMS system, or the learning management system. Instead of having to pull over additional links, I'm able to just quickly launch it and be able to put that in place within the classroom environment. One thing I'd like to change about Blackboard Collaborate is it does take a lot of data and a lot of internet and bandwidth to run at any given time, so I've noticed there's a little bit of delay in the audio and the visual aspect. So I wish that was a little bit more cleaned up, as most of these classes are done live and in a virtual environment at the same time.
