Colleges, universities, and higher education institutions.
Easy to use and organize. It's great for managing lessons and student progress with good automations.
There is also no active chat sections, and the lack of video conferencing is quite an appalling loss, especially since it is the most desired feature for online studies.
Moodle's feature-rich platform, exceptional user experience, and commitment to empowering educators and learners make it an outstanding choice for educational institutions and organizations worldwide.
Customizing is a headache. We are limited to their base themes and customizing from there.
Back then we were looking for a budget solution for implementing elearing in the company I was working for. It was a fun experience and community support was great.
But maybe it's because of the bad administration my university does.
This is like a great experience with my cousin elearning practices and all the way we feel like a classroom experience for them.
It is really difficult to navigate and find what you are looking for. The dashboard includes courses from current and previous semesters which is really confusing.
Versatility and ease of use. Customer Support is awesome, and the tech people are all excellent to work with.
I find most people don't have it setup correctly or don't have the exchange module setup properly. That's where alot of the frustration comes from.
As a System Administrator, I appreciate the helpfulness of the SARS Technical Support team. They have been so helpful and always help me to find a solution to my questions.
Software glitches daily and freezes very often. Constant error messages and delays in updating.
Allows management to identify and allocate resources. A flexible suite of products being supported by an outstanding technical support team.
Limited report customization. User experience (especially for students is still somewhat dated).
One of the best customer support experience I've ever had. Rep and his wife and their crew are wonderful.
No 2-way outlook integration. Web setup is a little clunky.
Eladio M.: Hello, this is Eladio. I work in a producer of online courses. And I'm going to rate Moodle with four out of five stars. I have used many alternatives to Moodle, such as LMS and WordPress with LearnDash and Sensei. Moodle is the more powerful of all of them. I use Moodle because this is the all-in-one solution for e-learning. It has everything: tests, communication with the students. It is the most powerful tool in the market for this. I could give Moodle five star if it was was easier to use it, but the interface is very old, very little intuitive. And that's something they have to improve. If you are starting with Moodle right now, I would recommend that you look for expert advice. It is very tough to configurate, to set up and to put everything in place. So look for help.
