WorkMax vs Deputy: Which is a better fit?

I really like that when I need something I can always reach out to AboutTime and talk to the same few people. They seem to have great employee retention, and that says a lot about their company.

Apple doesn't make me pay for updates, my computer company doesn't make me pay for updates. This is absolutely ridiculous to me.

They have great customer support who can help you along the way as well as videos to watch so you understand from the beginning how to use the program.

Having to invest in palm pilots and then switch to phones. This unfortunately was a loss for our company.

I think this is a great system that just has some kinks in it that can be worked out. In the long run it will work for you if you figure out everything with it and how it works.

We've lost information that we couldn't get back.

Great support and a product that overall offers most of the functionality that we are looking for. Moving to a cloud-based platform in the future.

Our GPS has stopped working all together and I have an employee who's phone isn't working at all with the program after I have done everything I was trained to do to activate.

On top of this it gives great information on both individual, location and total staff costs, which is very useful when planning for the future.

Sometimes lags in the data makes it difficult to clock time accurately. Also transferring incident reports could be made easier.

Deputy has been the best in delivering their promises. Their interface is amazing and simple to use.

I truly get frustrated when it automatically adds your 30 min break if you did not take one.

It just has made the scheduling of staff and time sheet records so quick and easy. The team continuous improvements of the package is fantastic, already making an awesome package better.

Intergrating other financial applications was difficult.

This is just great software to manage staff scheduling it's just so easy. It has some great reports for costings too.

You have to pay a monthly fee for yourself as an admin user even if you don't input any of your shift info into Deputy and there is also a minimum spend which they only mention in the small print.
