On-premise shop management solution that helps repairing businesses manage parts pricing, sales and marketing tracking, job costing, scheduling and more.
The app's purpose is to help mechanics and auto repair shop owners to manage their business with ease. The app offers inventory tracking, invoicing, service reminders, VIN decoder, plate reader...
The ease, the detailed illustrations, the ability to look up time for repair work, and the ability to get the right parts for my customers.
Unlike competing products, Mitchell cannot incorporate pictures taken with a cell phone to document problem areas or existing body damage on a customer car; the list of "cannots" goes on and on.
It is user friendly and allows the user to search via multiple parameters. Parts are broken down in easy to find sections and results are easy to read with clear diagrams.
The price is way too high and and getting out of a contract is impossible even if the product or add on was horrible.
All together a great product, works without fail. Updated regularly, great technical support team.
For even the plainest of cars. Part location does not exist, diagrams are a mess to find, and when found they DO NOT HAVE CONNECTOR VIEWS, and i go back to google.
When using Mitchell I loved the idea that you could look up service history.
It's not instant, there is a brief delay after clicking that you have to wait for before the page loads.
This software was easy to use and a great asset to the company. I'm very thankful for the software.
Ive had the app almost a year now and its alot less buggy now than it was then, so props to the developers for getting updates out. My other complaint is the online appointment system.
The software has made several fantastic improvements over the past few years. When you compare the features and ease of use and low monthly price you simply can't find a more comprehensive program.
On the computer to long eyes hurt from straing and to many things to choose from.
Great experience, hoping to soon integrate CAR FAX so i can start reporting to them. I truly love this product, has saved me a ton of time.
Some of the information import features are lacking , at times. Also can be difficult to manually input detailed vehicle information.
I also like all the integration features as well as electronic invoicing and estimates that can be approved by customer through their phones. It is a great management program for the price.
More of automative collision and refinishing references.
Danny W.: Hi, my name is Danny. I am the owner of D&Q Mobile Auto Repair, and I give ARI a 4 out of 5. Before I started using ARI, I wasn't using any kind of invoicing system, so it was really difficult to be on time with getting payments from customers and it just looked unprofessional. ARI really helped me get on track with knowing how much I spent on a job, tracking my inventory, and making sure that I'm getting paid on time by customers. I checked out other options out there and as far as the cost per month, ARI was the most cost-effective and I could grow it with my business. Plus, they're integrated with the Mitchell 1 system and all that so it really made it a no-brainer for me. Starting up with ARI was a little difficult, but once you got used to what it's going to ask for and the right information that you need to put in there. Once I set up my inventory and I set up my profile on there for my business, what my taxes are going to be and my inventory status, it became really easy. Pretty much once the initial setup is done, all you got to do is hit the plus button and add what you add. If you're thinking about getting ARI and you need it, get it. Heck, if you don't have an invoicing system, if you don't have an inventory tracking system, if you don't have a way to keep track of your appointments for your customers, it's easy and it's cost-effective. There's no reason not to get it if you're in the automotive business.
