Project managers, business analysts and QA managers looking for integrated Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) systems to manage their entire program from requirements, through testing to delivery.
Shortcut is ideal for mid-sized Agile software teams who are looking for a Kanban-style project management tool that has enterprise-grade features, but is simple to configure and use.
I really like the product; it is very easy to use, very easy to track team's performance , easy to do requirement traceability ,easy to assign tasks for the team. Overall a great product.
In the past upgrading other vendor tools has been a deal breaker when it failed. A tool should be able to upgrade itself without throwing any SQL errors or similar.
Very good keep up the great work you guys are doing including development team, customer support(Adam stand out in his response) very positive team.
The one negative for us was the lack of a sortable backlog for scrum. I was not able to find a way to rank items in a list to create the order for the backlog.
SpiraTeam was a great find in that it exceeded our needs and was very affordable offering great value. It's quickly become the focal point of our project implementation activities.
Lack of knowledge on my part of networks and servers made various steps hard to comprehend, without assistance.
Product is lightweight, flexible, feature-rich, responsive. Company has good documentation and provides excellent customer support.
However we miss some specific functions. Therefore we need workarounds or specific implementations.
The Shortcut software and formerly Clubhouse, has been exceptional. When I have use MS, Linear, and others, They don’t make as happy and relaxed and fulfilled as Shortcut does.
I suppose this is a risk with any software in this space, but there is a danger of losing items if they are excluded from all your standard views.
Clubhouse is amazing : it's an innovative project management software very easy to use and very easy to deploy.
The app on Android is a bit buggy. It's sometimes hit or miss with the git integration, some stories don't get linked even when following the docs, though I could be doing something wrong.
I like the ability to label things by Epic and create custom workspaces is super helpful. The Clubhouse API is useful for getting information about activity and creating our custom metric reporting.
The integrations with these two are quite useless to be frank. We cannot push a feature from productboard to shortcut as a feature, only as an epic, and also can't link it to an existing epic.
The best feature in Shortcut for a marketer is the ability to track the customer journey, which is valuable for UX improvements and ensuring a positive customer experience.
Some technical bugs that come about (and no way to avoid upgrading versions) because it's a web app. Mobile app could also use some work.
