Crossbar vs Northstar Clubs & Associations Software: Which is a better fit?

It's great from a scheduling standpoint and quick and easy to make teams. Parents: As a parent, I LOVE the ease and convenience of signing my kids up for soccer through Crossbar.

Scheduler takes a bit to get used to. Some members have had trouble uploading documents.

From demo day to present day, they have been very responsive and helpful. They do an amazing job of training and are available to help every step of the way.

The build out of registration behind the scenes is a bit tricky to learn. Some of the field labels aren't intuitive and it took a while to learn.

We compared this against 5 other platforms, and this was hands down the best solution at the right price. Couple that with the amazing customer service, and CrossBar is a homerun.

In other programs people could have other roles and have access to only specific sections.I don't like that you can't see a full month on a teams page of activities its week by week.

We have better function at a lower cost. Customer service is outstanding, very prompt and quick to resolve issues and answer questions.

This has been very challenging. I don't like that we cannot assign roles/permissions to our staff, meaning Registration, web design etc and it has to go through crossbar.

Northstar has and is doing a great job. I like that they are improving and enhancing the product.

The single biggest problem is that there is no readily available documentation. The latest user manuals are dated in 2008.

All of my questions were answered in a polite and informative way. Not to mention the meetings were recorded so it is nice to have everything as a reference.

After 5 years asking about updating and fixing FRD, it is still as bad as it was.

Their continued dedication to improving and growing their product. Their training team is extremely knowledgeable.

Our biggest frustration before Northstar was that our POA/accounting, golf, food & beverage, and recreation facility operations were all set up with different best-in-class systems.

Once the website and mobile app launched, I was speechless. Everything that they had worked on was officially brought to life and it was an honor to work with [sensitive content hidden] and his team.

It is so poorly designed that God forbid you need to regroup an account from one line to another. You will spend day fixing the report.
